Special Juan 28,141
It's quiet because he is actually doing what we all craved for when he was acting like a fucking maniac. All we wanted was to see effort, desire and goals, it's all any supporter or fan should want from any player not just a striker. He's back at it now and yesterday was one of his best performances i have seen from him in a blue shirt. The effort and pressing was nothing short of superb, it was a world class performance in how to hunt and pressure to the fulness of the team. He can hurt PSG on his own playing like this. bellion
kellzfresh 7,229
Please don't go back to concentrating on only fighting. When he's on form we play our best football. Just like the beginning of last season. He and fabregas on form make us score more goals just like that time.
Tomo 21,751
After all this he will probably eclipse last seasons tally, he needs ten between now and May. A fully fit on form Costa all season is at least 40 goals, hopefully next season is the year. The Skipper
BlueLion. 21,491
32 goals in 66 games (60 starts) is impressive. Better goals-to-games record than Drogba, who scored his first 32 Chelsea goals in 82 games. MefiX19 1,092
Should learn how to chip the goal over the keeper. I remember 2 or 3 times plus today whe nhe could score if he would chip the ball The Chels

Magic Lamps 11,692
How can you even miss that header? Granted it was an excellent save, but  all he has to do is to head it into the 14m²  of the goal that are not covered bya wrong-footed goalie as opposed to the 4m² he can actually cover. also won a mere 18% of his duels.  horrible performance. hope he bounces back. IMO when on form, he is twice the striker Cavani and Ibra are combined.
DYC. 7,542
Can't score in Europe and it's very worrying. Hazard can't score, Willian is not a goal-scorer, Pedro is unreliable. Leaves Chelsea relying on set-pieces. What else is new though?
WNDS 502
I thought that he played very well in the first-half, but reverted back to the worst of his early-season play in the second by taking up positions on the wing far too often, dribbling into opposition players with his head down, ignoring passes to team-mates etc. A shame, because he has been excellent since Hiddink took over. At least he kept his temper completely in check, and didn't cause unnecessary distractions for his team-mates. Jase 43,479
One thing I can't stand about Costa right now is him dribbling. Tends to over-dribble and lose the ball because of that all the time. Needs to stop thinking he's Messi! CHOULO19 24,332
Need to do better, especially in finishing. He wasn't asked to track back many times so you would have expected that energy to be save up to use on the counter and in winning headers...nope! And ffs he needs to get it through his head that he can't dribble. He's one of the worst attacking players I've seen at dribbling and yet he thinks he's the best dribbler in the world... Special Juan 28,141
Should of pulled the trigger at least twice when he had the chance, he didn't, and we will never know what could of been. This is an area he needs to work on and look at for me, his decision making at times is very poor. Did the hard yards again though, just pull the trigger more please. Often he waits for contact to earn a free-kick or a penalty, yesterday I remember 2 such occasions. That's one of the main things I don't like about him - when he has the chance to shoot or conjure something up, he'd rather cheat. It's also true his dribbling is bad. He should restrict himself to running the channels, sticking a foot out to score and be a cog upfront for combination plays, he needn't do much more. That's why I don't like when he goes on the wing, it usually requires beating somebody on pace or dribble and at that he's ineffectual. I agree with you, if I remember correctly, he had the ball and could (and should) have pass the ball to Willian or Pedro who was in excellent position to score when we were behind.
