Iggy Doonican 4,186
There's obviously a smoking gun. Who could win an election and resign four days later? There's no deal been done certainly not with the F.B.I. . There's something that incriminates Blatter that's so huge he had no choice. But where does that leave F.i.F.A ?. There saying they need a complete outsider to go through the whole organization but i just can't see it happening it will take years. And of course that could leave us with F.I.F.A. being run by by bloody Platini who i think will throw his beret into the ring for F.I.F.A. president. RoyalBlues 4,050
Don't think Platini will be the one. Gill maybe. But think we need a fresh candidate for a change.

Don't think Prince whats his face was really a serious candidate just a stalking horse to put pressure on Blatter.
Fulham Broadway 17,313
Have a feeling Qatar wont happen now when it all comes out in the wash.Septic Bladder will be drinking one of those 'litvenko' special cocktails soon and be found brown bread to stop him sqealing to the feds, and Russia 2018 will go ahead

LDN Blue 7,903
Political tensions could rise as a result of this, something I'm sure the US is vying on. For the FBI to have been building this case, there's obviously a known consequence of angering the Russians & Qatari's. That's precisely what will happen if Putin has any suspicions Russia's 2018 campaign is under threat. Maybe that could be season 4's House of Cards' main storyline
CHOULO19 24,332
For the people who still naively believe that only the Russia and Qatar bids were corrupt: Blazer: "I & others agreed to accept bribes & kickbacks in conjunction with broadcast & other rights to the 96, 98, 00, 02 and 03 Gold Cups'The timing of the 'uprising' against FIFA is because it is Russia and Qatar. It is completely political. The FBI, UEFA and the media in general couldn't care less about corruption at FIFA from a moral point of view. kobematabryant 400
So French World cup was bribed...lol and yet Russia and Qatar are under threat. This shit has been happening for the past few decades yet it's news. Anyways if anyone thinks the next two World Cups should be taken off Russia and Qatar, if found of bribery, then why shouldn't Spain and France be stripped of their World Cup wins? If you are going to be preaching legitimacy, why not go both ways??

Fulham Broadway 17,313
how far down does the corruption and bribery go ? Were draws fixed, results, decisions........ fines often seemed low, punishment non existent.....when people start admitting things like they are, what are they not admitting to ?Also UEFA have to be bent as a nine bob note looking at their draws, Ovrebo etc
