Kurt Zouma

Feel awful for him and the club.

this sort of injury takes a heavy toll short term and sometimes another one long term.

Hope for his career that the latter isn't as heavy.

on one hand he's a CB so not entirely reliant on pace; on the other hand pace is his virtue as a CB.

Chelsea Football Club's medical team have diagnosed that Kurt Zouma sustained an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament during yesterday’s (Sunday) Premier League game against Manchester United.

Kurt will undergo surgery in the next 48 hours and is expected to be out for approximately six months.

Terrible news but hopefully he will come back Azpilicueta-style from ACL injury. Who even knew that the Spaniard had one ? It certainly doesn't look so on the pitch, wish Kurt the same.

I hope youre right but Kurt's game is all about pace and power, this is the worst injury he could have got, he might recover this time like Essien did after the first one, but if it happens for a second time it will likely be curtains for his career as a top player.

Diego Costa did his ACL too a few years back. There's hope.

Feel sorry for the young man but always feared for him the way he jumps which in some instance is unnecessary and borderline reckless, he would and should learn from this.

Indeed, yesterday he looked pretty anxious, and his injury wasn't exactly and accident.

His positioning and high balls timing are bad, he IS relaying on pace and power

That is true, but he is very young and as he matures he will learn better positioning and reading of the game. Natuaral evolution.
