Popular Post! Yeboii 1,844 Posted March 30, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted March 30, 2014 Since he is getting more and more playing time I figure José is starting to trust him more. I think this player will surprise everyone next season. He is still 21! (22?) Muzchap, Fulham Broadway, Mohamed Ali and 2 others
Popular Post! robsblubot 3,595 Posted April 2, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 2, 2014 My first impression:Salah’s already better than Moses and has a much higher ceiling than him.Moses needs space to accomplish anything: he dribbles long, by sending the ball into space, not completely in possession, hoping to get there before the opponent does. He relies mostly on pace and power to accomplish that. This is the least technical way of dribbling – I know because that’s how I played the game (wing too). Sometimes this is good enough when the player is also good in other areas, but this will never make him a world class winger IMO.Salah on the other hand has far better technique: he does not need much space to play. He can dribble in tight spaces or in wide areas with more pace, but he’s always in possession with quick precise touches (fewer when in pace). Salah’s technique, (first touch and tight control of the football) is rare and combined with the great mentality he has shown at such young age, makes him a fantastic prospect. This does not guarantee anything and it’s really up to him (and a number of other variables including luck) to work hard to fulfill his potential.I’d not rush him this season though. It’s not really about whether he can be effective right now, but to let him develop at his own pace. Imagine how his life must have changed in such a short period of time.please note that if I end up being completely wrong about him I will merely delete this post, thank you. Popular Post! Mohammed Seif 1,451 Posted April 5, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 5, 2014 He had an interview yesterday on beIN sports. Would have loved to share it but it is in Arabic and sub titles. But every time this kid speaks he impresses me at this age. He said that the closest players to him right now are Luiz, Ba and Hazard. He said he was very happy with the way all the players and managerial staff welcomed him in the club. Life in England is easier for him than in Switzerland and he is adapting. When the host asked him about his thoughts about Mourinho saying that next season he will play an important role in the team, he replied by saying that he was happy about this but that doesn't mean that he has to wait for next season. He believes that he has to work hard from the moment he arrived. He does not have to wait till next season, but by working heard he may earn the chances of playtime this season and he has to keep fighting for it.That was a very responsible answer to me and reflects a fighting character. I hope he maintains it and his backs this up with hard work and actions. Barbara, KamikazeBlue, StrategiC and 2 others

Mohammed Seif 1,451
He deserves a chance to start today. Don't you think it might be a bit risky? Frankly I want some players to get some rest before PSG. But to me the EPL is not over yet.

But to me the EPL is not over yet.I would play him as Schurrle isn't exactly playing well and neither is Oscar. I would play Willian as the 10, Salah one side and Hazard the other….Ba up top. yuvala, Muzchap and Mohammed Seif

kellzfresh 7,229
I want salah to start. We've lost 2 of our last 3 against "park the bus teams" with our best 11. Something has to be changed and I think we need more intelligence in our play, salah should start. nyikolajevics and Beirut_Blues

yuvala 2,167
I will prefer to see him on the bench today, we need him fresh for Tuesday. We cant afford any of the remaining games without Hazard starting. We're hopeless without him and we really cant throw away any of the games. Mohammed Seif and Spyker
