Chelsea make a move for Wolfsburg’s Ricardo Rodriguez [Kicker]

The kicker article they quote says that Chelsea was rumored to be interested and that wolfsburg doesnt allow him to leave. So nothing to see here.

Kicker just reported, doesn't have actually any concrete information. Zero reliable sources all over again. Stories copy&paste from British which means another zero reliable. For a very long time nothing concrete and no real connection with top players or superstars. Total silence. Tomorrow is D- day and looks like club doesn't respect Antonio enough.

Anyone else think this guy would be the perfect upgrade for Alonso in the LWB role? With Wolfsburg struggling, I think he's attainable.

Quick, pacy, direct and can put in a mean cross. He sometimes struggles defensively but it wouldn't be that big of an issue playing in a 3-4-3 system.

I think Cahill and Alonso are two players that need upgrading at the end of the season, potentially even Matic and Pedro as well (I just don't completely trust them).

Rodriguez, Hector or Creswell for me :) Alonso can also play LCB ;)

He would be a great signing I think. Obviously like most fullbacks these days he's stronger offensively than defensively but he's a pretty decent defender too. Great crosser of the ball, takes a mean free kick as well... and takes penalties I think?

In our 343 he would be excellent. He's mobile, strong, has good technical qualities.. would be a improvement on Marcos I think. I'm sure I read he would be available for a transfer next summer as he has a release clause that comes in to play then. Or maybe I'm wrong, sure I seen that somewhere. Might need to check.
