Just imagine how utterly dominant a side we'd be with just two additions to the squad. A Kroos/Modric/Gündogan type next to Matic and a top class striker. We'd be right there with Bayern, Madrid, and Barca then.

Yeah, Matic was beastly. Consistently putting in world class performances. Benfica fans said he was one of the best CM/DM's in the world. I completely agree.

One just has to mention the crosses today, he is no worse than Luiz during his good performances in that regard.
I think we have yet to find a good midfield partner to Matic, but once we do we are set. Amazing performance from an amazing player.

He should have won the player of the month in february.
