It was the type of a game that just turns you off from football. Such incompetence from the referee, I can still not believe it.

I feel so bad for Matic. He is a large defensive midfielder and would stereotypically be thought of as a rough hothead, but he seems like such a calm and well mannered guy. Add his passing and technique and you have a very unique and extremely talented player that deserves more protection from the officials.

I prefer that he got sent off rather than having a broken bone. I like him more for what he did, this is a game of passions, and thugs like Barnes need to be brought into the spotlight. He will be extremely missed, and it pisses me off that he as the victim will get the worst punishment.

I so hate when it isnt the game on the pitch deciding results, but completely incompetent officials who protect each other and are above questioning.

Fuck Barnes, Fuck Atkinson and Fuck the FA.

This season we've only lost 1 out of 37(!) games when Matic was playing. Without him we've lost 2 out of 3. It goes to show how important (and great) Matic is but over-reliance tends to spell danger and it could really hurt us in these upcoming games.

I just cant get my head around it to be honest i have been watching football for nearly 20 years, since when has pushing someone become a red card offense??? you see it all the time in football, players square up and push each other, we saw it today in the Spuds match also, players never get red cards just for pushing someone, what am i missing from this? surely the red card will get recinded.
