Locals carried shrines of black and pink phalluses at the Kanayama Shrine, a local penis-venerating shrine located in the Wakamiyahachimanguu village in Kawasaki City for the spring event celebrated annually on the first Sunday on April.

For centuries before the first meeting of the Football Association in The Freemasons' Tavern on Great Queen Street, London on 26 October 1863, there were no universally accepted rules for playing football. In each public school the game was formalised according to local conditions; but when the schoolboys reached university, chaos ensued when the players used different rules, so members of Cambridge University devised and published a set of Cambridge Rules in 1848 which was widely adopted. Another set of rules, the Sheffield Rules, was used by a number of clubs in the North of England from the 1850s.

The Freemasons Tavern (also known as the Freemasons Inn and the Freemasons Inn and Restaurant) is a 19th-century public house in the Brunswick Town area of Hove, part of the English city of Brighton and Hove. Built in the 1850s in a Classical style similar to the surrounding buildings in the rapidly growing Brunswick Town area, it was given a "famous" and "spectacular" renovation when a restaurant was added. Local architecture firm Denman & Son designed an ornate Art Deco interior and an elaborate, brightly coloured entrance adorned with Masonic symbols; both the exterior and the interior survive in excellent condition. The tavern is a Grade II Listed building.

The illuminatti were the ancient civil engineers.

How the heck were you going to pass exams in civil engineering in 2000 bc Egypt, Greece, China ?

Nowadays they give us a CSE paper and it says "this is a riveted joint strut, find the Euler equation, stretch modulus, amount of cement needed". If you don't know you are off.
