I think we know now that some of that was down to how shit West Ham are instead of how good we were. A well drilled Basel are no comparison to the pikeys.At least he's admitted he needs to change players. So now the people who have been defending José's ever-present selections with the argument 'José knows more about football than anyone here' can at least shut up for a while. No signs of wanting to win the game and seems like the tactic was to just defend and get the point and while we are through I hope Mourinho takes note. I like Lamps and while I think some of the criticism he has got this season has been harsh, he should not be playing every single game. He is fucking 35 and should be used as rotation. Mourinho needs to realise he is not the same player from when he had his first reign at the club but tonight the performance was just dire and horrible to watch and no one really played well IMO. Basel deserved the victory. With all respect we are quite lucky that the other teams in our group have been inconsistent.Mata been an unused sub for the last 2 games. Now, I've come home and seen that LAMPARD started away at Basel. 2+2=4?anyway, Chelsea were nowhere near confident coming into the match and the lineup was not correct. no surprise with this club.
