BlueLion. 21,491
Gave it a go, but looked well of the pace.Luckily for him, £48m David Luiz made him look like Ronaldinho in comparison
Styles 9,790
Bernard is brazil future and should always start over him. Not much of a future then... Madmax
Korea 734
Not much of a future then...If that is what the future holds for Brazil, then I'm afraid they have the same chances as Romania to win a World Cup again.Bernard, Oscar and Neymar are the going to be the 3 moving forward. I understand that this is a chelsea forum, however, you guys really need to take your blue tinted glasses off. Willian did nothing for brazil and after this world cup, there a good chance he doesnt get called up again because of his age and the amount of ams brazil has in their u23s. Had willian never moved to chelsea, willian never would of gotten called up by scolari.

LAB 1,030
Willian doing not much for Brazil has to do with Scolari's idiocy, not himself.

Korea 734
How often have you seen Bernard's play at club level over the past year?IN shaktar? None. For Brazil? every match on the national team and a few for club level. Bernard is the only ams that runs constantly. Oscar, neymar, willian, coutinho, lucas will not give the constant runs that bernard does for the team. It's mind boggling you guys cant see the potential in Bernard and the role/fit he has with the squad moving forward. He has very good technique, is fast/quick and a passes decently well. His only setback is he's a hobbit and will be limited in terms of his defensive output.

Next to Oscar he was easily the best Brazilian out there. iseah100, Bir_CFC, Ainsley Harriott and 4 others
Popular Post! Barbara 15,149 Posted July 12, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted July 12, 2014 "At the same time, Willian is a better player coming from the sides. In my opinion I would go with Oscar as a No. 10 and Willian coming from the side."- Josethat really comforts me. At least our manager knows how to use our players.I think Willian was decent today. But he's barely featured in this team (before and during the WC), so he was like an outsider trying to get a grasp of things. He did well, nothing exceptional, but I'm happy he was given a start. What really matters for me though is how he'll progress in his second season for us. I have such high expectations about him... dee25, zolayes, The Skipper and 2 others
dee25 1,044
I think he's got immense ability and he's also fortunate to have physical strength and pace. The limitations in his game is really down to his mentality. He just needs to assert himself and be more daring on the ball. But he has all the tools in my opinion. lionsden 4,689
My one criticism of him apart from the obvious one (lacklustre end product in terms of finishing and delivery into the box) is that he's more worried about retaining possession rather than being direct and aggressive. kellzfresh and couris

But he is as shy as an 18yr old when he is 25. If he can trust in his abilities more, he'll do things like what he did for us in our first goal against athletico madrid Bluelsthecolour, Barbara and lionsden
