NO way is it a ruptured cruciate ligament, he would not have been able to get back on his feet if it were. He even walked off the pitch. Best case scenario, imo, is that he just twisted his knee and will be back in 2-3 weeks, worst case scenario he did some nerve damage and will be out 2-3 months.

don't want to scare you, but my right back, once, kept on playing for a while, and then finally walked off the pitch, and we thought the same thing. Next morning we'd find out it was indeed cruciate.

Realistically, that's a year-long recovery. Lucas from liverpool returned sooner but only now has been able to reach pre-injury level of performance.

I know many people who tore a cruciate ligament and tried to run around and play after. Obviously they had to stop because the pain was so bad, but it's happened many times

Maybe it differs from one person to another. I said he wouldn't be able to walk because I've had a cruciate ligament injury myself in the past. It wasn't even ruptured and I still couldn't walk on it!

Anyway, wish him a speedy recovery.
