1. Our new kits : IMO material looks nice and silky. It's ideal shade of blue, a little darker, I love it. The font looks nice too for what it is worth. And those embedded lions are not so visible outside fully set photographic studio with thousands of lumens on it. It looks perfect on that pictures with Diego Costa, material looks really cool, similar to Roma shirts. When it's wet it's even better. And goalkeepers shirt has great colour. Overall it's very good IMO.

2. New kit sponsor : great shout @WHS. Chelsea have the second biggest shirt sponsorship deal in the market, very close to Man Utd and after Man Utd signed a new kit deal with Adidas, I'm sure Chelsea and other clubs started to ask questions about it. Chelsea will surely bridge that gap as well. They are doing an excellent job on marketing end.

Though it's a shame because I'm fanboy of Adidas since I was very little and had my first collection book.

You Europeans don't know this because yourselves live in your Nike/Adidas bubble but in the United States; Under Armor is one of if not the biggest growing sportswear company. I promise you, go to any sports store in America and you'll find stacks of Nike, Adidas and Under Armor. You lot really, really underestimate that company. A company doesn't endorse the most talented American footballer and basketballer  and the biggest hitter in baseball by accident. Those players being Tom Brady, Steph Curry, and Bryce Harper respectively. It even has it's fingers in two of the largest market NA sports teams Chicago Cubs and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Cam Newton, Michael Phelps, Andy Murray; all leading athletes in their sports.

UA are killing it and are only on the rise.

I confess that I couldn't care less about which sportswear company produces our kit as long as their deal with CFC gives the club a fair slice of the pie. As it happens, I like the 16/17 design because it's a throwback to the kit the club was wearing the season before I became a fan in that last summer before Sgt. Pepper. I saw the ladies wear it on Saturday and then the lads on Sunday. In neither case was the patterning in the material that some people have complained about noticeable.

I was 100% surprised when I first noticed it. I had only ever known UA as that company that makes the compression undershirts/shorts. People wear their casual line in the States everywhere. I feel it is quickly becoming an ingrained fashion line. Of course, don't get me wrong Nike and Adidas are still by far the bigger brands but don't underestimate the power of UA.

I like the new kit, really. I don't understand why people don't. It is at the very least something different.

Yes, if I were to have a preference it would probably be for the up and coming brand because of the impression that they might try harder.

Those lions are horrible, but on the pitch, you can't see them and the kits look great.

Chelsea have agreed a stunning £60 million-a-year kit deal with Nike that will help the club to continue to compete at the top end of the transfer market, despite failing to qualify for the Champions League.

Telegraph Sport understands the deal with Nike is worth double to Chelsea than their current £30m-a-year sponsorship deal with Adidas, which the club last week confirmed will come to an end next season.

If true, £110m a season in sponsorship for just our kit provider, kit sponsor and training ground sponsor is some going.

The board get regularly criticised and some of it, particularly recent transfer strategy, is justified, but they continue to produce with these sorts of deals and helps keep us competitive at the top end currently even with our small capacity at the Bridge.

Their business decisions have been magnificent, and that's what the board specializes in. On the football side however...

happy with 60m if its confirmed true.

Hope Nike respect the right blue and I dont mind a bit of red providing the words ' honi soit qui mal y pense ' were stitched into that bit

But at the end of the day..... 60m is terrific and could end up being biggest in Premier if Utd fail to qualify for Champs league by end of  next season as well
