So we definitely have to win to secure third. And Alan Pardew apparently said last weekend he wouldn't mind if Newcastle lost 4-0...Anyway, after getting hammered in their last 2 home games, I would imagine Pardew wants his side to perform well this time and restore some pride at SJP. Why don't take the direct encounters like in the European competition?I remember one year in an east-european league two teams where equal on point and goals on no1 with the direct encounters both draws.
