regarding all these funny comments about the romanian farmers, communism, retarded people etc.... i think no one will change your view on romania in some comments on a forum. Hell, if Demosthenes was behind a keyboard right know and would try to write the perfect comment, in order for you to stop thinking that romania it's a living hell - he'll have quite some difficulties. So, I think the only fair enough thing it would be to ask the chelsea fans that were here last night, the english men that wandered around bucharest all of yesterday. I'm betting my money on their answer... All the best from a proud crazy romanian middle aged man, a man who still remembers the romantic team of chelsea maybe 15 years ago, haveing seen a lot of games in that period only because your right back was a crazy romanian from steaua (a rb so crazy that he named his daughter "chelsea" ). Cheers.

don't worry mate. some think that farther the East, the worse civilization looks, but they don't notice shit they live in. just have to deal with it..

God, so much flame on this forum. As a Steaua fan, I am pleased about the outcome of the game, but I must say the game overall was s^%hit, no entertainment at all. That thing with the lasers in the player`s eyes is very bad and I think the club should be fined, that should not be acceptable in Romania anymore. About the penalty, I think the decision could have been either way (I have watched that replay a dozen times and I can`t figure out if Rusescu started to dive before or after he had a hand in his neck. You can`t argue that in that position, if he had reached the ball, could have easely scored. The thing I find stupid is that the ref gave a yellow, that showed that he had no idea what was going on (either give a red or don`t call it). Most likely he was afraid of breaking the balance even more (although I think if the roles were reversed and that was Torres being taken down by Szukala, that would have turned into a penalty kick AND a red card, that`s how things work when small teams play against big teams).

I think that Chelsea, in its current form, will have a very tough time on Stamford Bridge. Imagine if Steaua will score there, and they have all the chances because Chelsea has to press and open gaps in the mid and defence (cases in which players like Chipciu and Adi Popa are very good), then Chelsea needs 3 goals. I think Chelsea should focus more on not giving Steaua chances to score and less on atacking from minute 1.

And please cut the crap about us wining because you didn`t play, it`s true that Chelsea is going through a tough time but it does not negate the fact that Steaua is a strong team, with good positioning and great teamwork.

Good luck with Man United, hope you win, bring your spirits up and give us a great match on Stamford next week, no matter the outcome.

its ridiculous watching Chelsea with such a pathetic pace and awful momentum....dis team can no way defeat Man u on sunday...bye bye Roman Empire...Chelsea F.C is sinking...,

It's not sinking, it's as simple as a few correct signing in the summer for the right areas, a really good manager and then sticking with him.

worst match of Chelsea this year, like no one wanted to play and the pitch was awful.

Steaua did a good pressing but it was easy for them to do it with such space between our lines.

Huge gap between Terry Luiz and Mikel Lampard and an even bigger one betwwen them and Oscar.

Long balls to no one and as there was huge gaps between the players, we had no chance to win the second balls.

Hazard and Oscar had their worst game of the year, Hazard even seemed like he didn't want to play and was fed up.

Ramires was missed. At Least Steaua would have to contain his runs, things that Mikel and Lampard cannot do, even if they leave space, they don't have to worry that one of them would drive past.

Hazard had three men shepherding him all night, he found it tough.

I find it more worrying our lack of basic ball control and how the basics of football have massively by passed us.

Well Steaua could press with numbers on the side because we played so slowly from the back and Mikel Lampard are not renowned for their runs with the ball.

Ramires with his engine offers often help the right back or right winger to have a passing option and if there's a hole in the midfield, he will run past players.

I hope the chelsea board realises that we need midfielders.

That's then up to us to change things, but that maybe a bit too much for Rafa, just a fraction far too far.

By far, Becali (Steaua owner) attacked Abramovich the most, saying:

Abramovich’s money are worth nothing. When Jesus Christ wants you to lose, you can have all the money in the world and it won’t count. Divinity can take all your money away in the blink of an eye, so his billions are worth nothing. I didn’t worry about losing the game, only bad luck could have affected us. We will surely score on Stanford Bridge, and Chelsea is not a team which can score three goals against us, so we are already qualified.

Someone, explain this to me. I'm kind of shocked.

Publicity. He knows this is the biggest platform he can ever receive and he is making full use of it. This is what publicity hungry people do, they will do anything even at the point of being stupid to stay in the limelight!

Just smile and give him a thumbs up.

Our next game is against Manchester United. Your's is against someone called Ceahlaul. :lol2:

Our next game is at Old Trafford. Your next game is somewhere in Romania.

After our game, we go back to London. You're still going to be in Romania.

hmmmm...at least steaua has 52 titles won (23 league, 21 romanian cups, 5 romanian super-cups, 1 champions league won, 1 uefa super-cup, 1 intercontinental cup )...many semi-finals in all major competitions....62 years in the first league (you`ll have to tell us how is it in the second league), we have the EUROPEAN RECORD of a number of 104 unbeaten matches in the league....so shhhh....go and play in the woods you cunt!

Lol bit harsh.

For a smallish country like Romania, they have a pretty good footballing standard ;) and it's not a money driven, commercialised bandwagon (yet!!!) - so I kinda respect them, they have a god heritage of sticking it to bigger teams and I applaud any team that plays with heart, passion and desire. I just honestly wish our team could do that. At least then I could feel comfortable knowing we gave everything, but just weren't good enough. Last night we gave nothing and got nothing...

you have all my respect!
