The score would have been 5 or 6 if Torres had played, IMO, because the attack would have been better organised in the first half and Brentford would have had to devote two players to handle him, thereby making space for Mata and Oscar, and Torres would probably have scored. But it was better that he was rested for next week. Demba was the "victim" of a team with players who don't play well with a lone striker. Therefore it is ironic that the first goal was the result of such a direct move - lobbed from the back to the centre-foward and his deflection to Mata. I'd like to see us mix in a few more of these direct tactics especially against teams who play a double back four and turn up to defend.

Lmao, I feel sorry for you for still having hope in the useless one. With him we would've gone to ET or barely won 1-0.

Terry just said that all the reports about him and Rafa having a row were "rubbish" and "yellow journalism". That will disappoint some of the Rafa-haters on here. Well done, Rafa! Another victory for you and your team. Keep ignoring the yobos.

Lol if you believe that you will believe anything!

Terry is smart enough not to disrespect his manager in public, but don't for a minute delude yourself that he likes Benitez!

I only saw the first half of Wigan vs Huddersfield - but they were 3-0 up with some great play and some non-starting prem players...

That's how we should have felt with Brentford...

Martinez is growing on me as a manager... Love the teams playing style... Maybe he will be here in the summer?

Was so relieved when we got that 1st goal, i was actually shitting bricks, the abuse if we were KO'd at home to them woulda been horrible. 4-0 wrapped it up nicely. Pissed off about the draw, really wanted Millwall, when there was only a few left i really hoped for it to happen. I'm not sure this Chelsea team under the fat cunt can really win at Old Trafford but wouldn't it be so great to get Millwall at Wembley? Police on alert lol.

95 Final = Everton vs Man Utd

07 Semi = Chelsea vs Blackburn

09 semi = Everton vs Man Utd

09 Final = Chelsea vs Everton

11 Semi = Man Utd vs Man City

All possible again.

Of course we still have to get past 'Boro at the Riverside but i'm pretty sure we will. Their current form is shocking.

It would be just unbelievable if we were to win this cup again.

Martinez passed on Liverpool because he doesn't want to work with directors. No problem, Emenalo can coach the ladies.

Ian Wright complained that David Luiz is a bully and a coward... Here's Ian's rap sheet

Lol don't listen to an ex-Gooner

Especially one that has turned into Chris Eubanks ;)

He has to say something controversial as he is getting less and less airtime!

Luiz was out of order - hope he apologised to the lad and everything is cool...

How can you say someone's immature because he made a wild challenge? What the hell?

Mature in football means to be more calm and professional. Focused on play. He does some nasty stuff and thats not calm even bit.

JT's done nasty stuff on the pitch, does that mean he's not mature on the pitch?

You cant compare JT and Luiz. JT has other qualities that make him mature, certainly not nasty fauls. Instead Luiz should learn on concentration, but he just become more agressive...
