11:30 spacer.gifConfirmation that Torres is not taking part in training at Melwood today.

Probably too busy doing his hair or having a manicure!

They work during the night

I won't ask what you're implying :D

@SkySportsPeteF: Kenny Dalglish fiercely denied thatLiverpool were prepared to sell Fernando Torres. The Anfield boss also confirmed that he had money to spend at a time when reports have emerged regarding a bid for Andy Carroll.

...no signing in this transfer window.

Well you have to understand this - he is preparing to be unveiled as the new Chelsea player so he must be looking good :D

I wonder whether Roman will have any of his Russian prossies lined up for Torres too?

Guys you are overthinking. If the guy has handed in transfer request and such - he is desperate to win. If he comes to Chelsea (or any other elite club if this deal doesn't happen) he will get his act together, no doubt. 50mil is alot of cash, sure, but we will pay alot more during the summer if we chooes to chase him, mainly because we'll have company such as Mercedes City. Even if we get Torres, it doesn't rule out moves for other players during the summer. It's Roman's choise, Roman's cash - we should be glad to see him invest in the club again because that means he is still interested, still ambitious. I'd be welcoming Torres to Bridge with both hands.
