well he won the golden boot in Euro 2012 with 3 goals and 1 assist. those coming in the two matches he played, the one a 4-0 win over ireland and the other goal and the assist against an already beaten italy side. Funny thing is, he was tied with some other players, I think Balotelli and Gomez who also had 3 goals and one assist. He got the boot because out of these 3 he played the least, resulting in him having a better goals/mins ratio.
