OhForAGreavsie 6,073
If I remember rightly Bogarde atleast had the self respect to carry on training and keep himself in a decent shape for Ranieri to have a u turn if he ever choose to.If Torres was ever put in the same situation it would surprise me if he even did that given his attitude with us.Of course Torres would have trained and kept himself fit to play. The alternative would have been to risk his contract worth something like €500,000 a month, plus bonuses. How stupid would he have to be to chuck that away for the sake of a strop?Don't forget that the club treated Bogarde appallingly badly in a cheapskate and dishonest attempt to get themselves out of a situation that was UTTERLY AND COMPLETELY THE CLUB'S OWN FAULT. I am absolutely delighted that Bogarde stood firm and put up with all manner of humiliations as CFC tried to cheat him out of his contract. Good for him, but if Bogarde did that for about £2m a year, do we really imagine that Torres would not have done the same for 3 times as much, maybe more? Las7 951
The biggest waste of money, wages, effort and nerves. I hope to never see is face again. Worst transfer in History, thank all the deities it's finally over. It was 3 years too late but better late than never. His loan to Atletico is official now for 18 months. We didnt get any fee for him and let him go for free, so that Milan can transfer him to Atletico. In the end, he is off the book and its better for us but Milan surely wouldnt pay any fee for him MichaelDance
pHaRaOn 2,131
"For me my three-and-a-half years at Chelsea were unbelievable," Torres said at the International Sports Conference in Dubai."I won the Champions League, Europa League, and FA Cup. Chelsea gave me what I was looking for when I left Spain and Liverpool: trophies.""It gave me all the trophies I have with clubs and I was lucky enough to also win trophies with Spain. Now I hope to win them with Atletico."

RoyalBlues 4,050
What if we've put a buy back clause in the deal?! It's a good thing if true, isn't it? If he miraculously back to his best, we have an option to buy him back. If he is still shit, then let him be. I don't see any disadvantages of the buy back clause, and I'm serious, look at my face
