OssiesCorner 14
Well if we go by that the Di Matteo obviously sees a lot of positives in him if keeps backing him, praising him and always pick him over Sturridge in the CF role (despite some here screaming that Sturridge should be fist choice striker). And Del Bosque must be a twazzak for constantly picking Torres ahead of the other strikers Spain have, like Negredo, Soldado, Llorente or even Adrian Lopez. Hostedenis 556
He scored today. And he would've scored two if Ramires had not gone for personal glory (I'm talking about the chance before the opening goal). I think he played a good game today! Good, not great. He did a nice dribble as well, only to see his shot blocked... But the dribble was class!
Chelsea? 892
He scored today. TrippingStep 336
He scored but I understand why he doesn't play that much for spain. He made some bad passes and decision during this match while he could have set a chelsea player to score in the box. Ljpaddock 187
No wonder he looks less and less interested as the game goes on. He starts really brightly and gets in good positions on the centre halves shoulders yet when ever someone draws a defender and opens the gap they try and score from a stupid area. CHOULO19 24,332
Terrible game, almost blew all the team's brilliant work by being in a offside position for the third goal luckily the linesman missed it. Danny looked so much brighter than him, in all honesty the only reason he is starting for is his price tag.
HRiver 1,512
He was not good enough today, despite the fact that he scored. Even I would have scored that, and that miss in the first half was just awful. It would've been another assist for Hazard had he scored there. Las7 951
Torres's first winner in the EPL as a Chelsea player took him one and a half seasons, but he finally scored a winner for us. Seems to have a few flashes but most of the time was miscontrolling the ball or standing still around the penalty spot. Major doubts about him continue
Kinol 337
We need a new striker. Say what ever you want but thats what we need. If Torres is invinsible against teams like Reading, how do you think he will stand against teams like Newcastle which we are playing against in a few days. Games where well have the ball as much and not having as many goal chances as today. We need someone fresh and some one with a striker instinct that can put those god damn ball that come into the box into the goal. And dont come with the "he should have scored 2 goals if it wasnt for Ramires" talk. I could even score at those chances. Jype
Tomo 21,751
Until Torres proves himself otherwise Danny is first choice forward.Enough is enough, if Robbie keeps faith like this it will cost him his job.

I cant see Torres stepping up in those really big and important games like Dider Drogba did. We need someone like him.
Jype 6,398
What a surprise, again it's someone else's fault Torres didn't perform (this time Ramires). Sure, he scored a goal but apart from that a shameful performance and a player like that has absolutely no right to be the main striker for the Champions of Europe. Just my two cents. OssiesCorner 14
Last season he could assist three goals in one match and got criticized. In this match he scores the winner and still gets criticized. And what's all this talk about Sturridge "still being our nr. 1 striker"? It's not the same to perform as a striker for Bolton as it is to perform for a good club. I have great faith in Danny, but he's totally unproven.Your fucking "support" will be a good riddance. Where were you when we were shit? couris and zolayes

OssiesCorner 14
You are a dumb little fucker with that attitude. How do you make goals? Hint; someone has got to assist it.Goals is all that matters, right? Were Drogba shit in six of his seasons at our club?Support our players, if not then fuck off to Spuds, Spammers or Leeds. They'll appriciate you.
Naked Mole Rat 437
He definitely lacks confidence. I'm not giving him an excuse, but it's more of a criticism. He goes into almost every match with little confidence, and his confidence pretty much hits rock bottom 30 minutes into the match unless he scores early on. You can see that he's a much better player when he's confident, but I seriously wonder what it will take for him to bounce back. Probably nothing. Henrique 9,133
I have to say, Torres wont work in RDM system. He needs another striker to play alongside him.He never received the ball. It was far from a terrible peformance. zolayes

Where were you when we were shit?Oh are you serious? look back at this time last year i was one of Torres's biggest backers, i thought with Mata coming in, a full close season off and more settling into London surrounding's he would come good, i was patient through 10 months of shite displays and lack of goals, it wasn't until the Arsenal and Blackburn matches i started to have my doubts.and yes out of the two Danny is number 1 for me until Torres proves otherwise with displays on the pitch for me. Danny when he has bad games still tries to make something happen, Torres just hides, the Arsenal 5-3 game is the prime example. His goal today was one of those famous "lucky tap in's", had that been Kalou instead of Torres his player profile would be flooded of comments about how shit and lucky he is.
