seedings should be Alphabetic so Arsenal will be high like the pre season league tables

BUT clubs MUST use their proper names SO The Arsenal are lower than Tottenham. We are still high

and City are above United ,, Liverpool won't complain either as they are above United ,,,,, NOOOOOOOOOOO

Liverpool WILL ALWAYS complain ....

The way in which clubs are seeded for future draws in the competition could be altered in order to favour domestic title holders

The Spanish outlet claims that the favoured proposal would see the competition’s holders and the domestic champions of the seven highest-ranked leagues being seeded. Should the Champions League be won by a team which also wins their national championship, the winner of the eighth-highest ranked country would join pot one.

Sounds like Man-City's owners have been slipping brown envelopes to UEFA officials.

Or people getting bored of easily predicting the two to get out.

We want more groups of death.

It's what makes the group stage fun.

Anyhow if there's one thing to change I hope it's the away goal rules.

That is one of the causes of producing the most boring Fútbol because the fear of conceding one goal and counting as twice the value...

Man-City keep getting tough groups, so this change would suit them and make it easier, less competitive.

How would it suit them if they don't win the league?

It suits to whoever wins the league, and I see us winning the league not them.

Actually quite a lot of journos and people in football (and fans) have been complaining about the seeding. While I do agree that it's not exactly broken, but the current rules do seem a bit random and frankly not in the best interest of the competition. The suggested change would make it more likely for tougher knock-out matches.

Sporting Lisbon drew 1-1 with Porto in their league game tonight. They dominated the first half before Porto took controlled of the second.

That draw is Sporting's fifth 1-1 draw in seven matches in all competitions this season. Still unbeaten though as the other two games ended in 1-0 and 4-0 wins.
