Fulham Broadway 17,339
He eclipsed Jose 2 times in UCL, where the portuguese had the better squad.Right so thats ok then. Fuck him. I dont want some twat who had a few lucky cup games. You are in a select minority, and youre entitled to your opinion but 100%, no proper Chelsea fan wants him, or youre playing devils advocate-Abramovich is probably thinking what the fuck have I done ? Hes now running out of options as Ray Wilkins said. Wednesday he'll get a bit of slack as we beat the Danes, but hes on his way sooner than later

The only thing we need to do is FINISH 4th or higher, fuck the cups, fuck everything else - just get the team playing and looking like a team, not a bunch of people we picked up from Hackney Marshes on the way to CFC...Unlike other managers we know he has a DEFINITE leave date - so let's get behind the Team and hope RA learns from this fucking debacle and we get a manager next time who is given more than 9 games.I didnt agree with RDM getting the job, but sacking him after 9 games is not great for anybody... So REALLY hope our Board have learnt their lesson, also loaning out all of the 'experienced' players hasn't fucking helped! We're in the same shape as Aston Villa - team full of youngsters and easily beaten

He persisted with Zonal Marking to his own downfall. He Ballsed up Inter now he's ballsing up Chelsea.I will always back the team and Chelsea but he can fuck off

Quick everyone - check under your bed for zonal marking!!!I'm not a fan of Benitez, but he's well-respected throughout the game and in 2009 his Liverpool team won came second in the league with 86 points. The season after we won the league with the same amount.Agreed, but every night I'm praying to God, Allah etc that he does a Valencia here until the summer.Changing manager again would really be a pisstake and I just can't face anymore of that shit.Hopefully, heads down, start winning matches and see what the summer brings...Pretty much exactly this. Rmpr 8,977
Without Steve Clarke we'd be heading for disaster!Thank god we've said nope about that rumourIt has been crazy weeks.I was first incrediblely angry! RDM was not a great manager, he was bad a giving orders, roles and training sessions and he also wasnt a great tactician. However, he was a legend, had great connection with the team and he was improving (defensive wings, double pivot, etc). Then I got extra mad because Benitez was taking over, he is a fat spanish waiter and will always be! Nevertheless, I saw in him a hope of improving our tactics and defense (which were horrible) and a chance to light up the players. It obviously did not work out. Now, I can only see the messages I will receive from friends (specially from Corinthians) if we sack Rafa in only 2 weeks. It will be a nightmare...Dont get me wrong, I was faithful about Benitez, but I have fallen into reality. He is BAAAAAAD, but will he be better than Avant Grant? If by a miracle, Roman gets a top coach (Jose, Pep, Klopp, Steve Clark, etc), I wont even care about what other people think. However, if he gets Grant, I will go nuts!

Especially since spudz had just beaten manure before that. I really disagree that RDM was the plague everyone is making him to be.

Sheva. 5,373
At the end of the day it depends on the team,” said the Blues' 'interim' manager. “So maybe some players can show character, but if you have one or two players that are not playing at the level then the team will suffer.“I think in the second half we had this situation. So we needed to change players, and you could see that we were a little bit more comfortable in possession, but still we weren't controlling he first ball, second ball – for them that was important.”Benitez has said that the team needs to help Torres – who has played every minute of first team football since the 'interim' manager's arrival, but is yet to find the back of the net.Benitez said he was angry after the defeat on Saturday, at that he let Chelsea's players know how he felt. “Normally when you lose a game you are not happy. Yes (I was angry). I think they know that this is not the ideal situation, and they know that if I am here it because something was wrong."So it was too many games in the last two months that the team was not at the level that was expected.”Well said Mr Benitez, especially that last line. Some of our players have been playing like headless chickens for weeks now.

You may get the occassional liberal Chelsea fan, only occasionally who may shrug their shoulders and give me a chance. Me?, I want him out now, if not sooner. He is not, and never will be Chels, in any shape or form. And, If they bring that unt Grant back then I'll be throwing my toys out of the pram, BIG time. What a deadly duo that would be.
