I laughed when I read the article about Rafa being perplexed, because honestly I have been perplexed since he was name manager. He can't see what he is doing because his double chin and belly prevent him from seeing the pitch… or maybe that is where his brain is hiding because the tactical part must be focused on food not football! You kidding? we go 2-0 up away from home and he puts on an attacker? As soon as Lampard scored, we should have subbed Torres for Terry swiched to 5-4-1 with Oscar up top and Lampard pushing forward. Azpi and Cole could have still pushed forward to add numbers up the park and Ramires could have covered in front of the defence. We would have still controlled the MF and choked there attack.

2-0 up with 87 minutes played and it's his fault?? Ivanovic not trying his hardest on the first goal his fault?? 3 Reading players standing by themselves on the far post his fault?? Oscar missing multiple shots in front of goal his fault?? Doesn't make sense to me. I want him gone but sometimes it gets overwhelming how much he gets blamed for stuff he can't control. The players deserve alot of flak that they currently aren't receiving; Ivanovic and Cahill have cost us mightily, Ramires and Lampard lose balls on stupid body turns in the middle of the field, Oscar isn't comfortable with people are around him, Torres is Torres, Ryan is out of position so it is not fair to criticise him. The only players that act like they care are Terry,Lampard, Mata, Petr, and Cesar.

Not vouching for Benitez, but that would have been extreme and could have just as easily led to an equalizer. There were already 5 defenders on the pitch. Bringing on Terry might have added solidity at the back, but it could have also invited Reading to come forward and flood the midfield.

Face it, we dominated this match for large stages and should have won by at least 3 goals if it weren't for Oscar's poor finishing. Ivanovic and Turnbull didn't do well for LeFondre's opener.

Where Benitez, or at least someone in charge of the setpiece coaching, really screwed up was for the equalizer, were the marking just wasn't there.

Also, none of the defenders seemed to give a shit about LeFondre. Wonder what kind of advice the opposition scout gave the players....

Its not the first time Brana has gone brain-dead this season...Probably best to put him back in the RB position, where mistakes are less costly.

IMHO not bringing in JT in the last 10 minutes were costly. I heard/read telly tubby didn't think he could bring in JT cause it wasn't enough time to do so? Huh? Never heard of time wasting? there was a time when i looked forward to a chelsea match... i wanted nothing more than to see chelsea play... it used to be the highlight of my week... i would fight with my parents, my friends, my girlfriend, any and evey1 to just leave me alone to watch the boys in blue. mostly because i knew it would be worth it. watching DD, ballack, essien, makelele, JT, lamps fight it out and slug it out. no matter what u knew u would get a 100% from these players. u would get fight, u would see character... but now NOTHING... ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING... we got a team with absolutely no character. we refuse to learn from our mistakes (what no. of 2-0 leads have we dropped). i remember the 2010-11 season when, i think, we dint drop even drop points when we went ahead and now this.

plus we have a manager who could not tell the difference between the skills of messi/ronaldo and a bloody buffalo... 4-2-3-1 is probably the only thing he was ever thought and he thinks if he changes that formantion then the team would automatically lose. his substitutions are PATHETIC... i mean bert for cole against swanseas, azpi for iva against brentford, ba for torres...
