robdog 2,084
That was 4 years ago and you can't blame him for saying that, Anfield nights are always so passionate and memorable.Well from the Immortal Words of Terrel Owens, "if it looks like a rat, then it must be a Rat!!!" In my mind, Benitez looks like a rat!!

Muzchap 8,966
Roman, I lost big respect towards you, from 'cool' owner, you showed this spoiled face and looking on our club as a toy (or just very impatient).Rafa should not come here, but I will still support him now, as he is part of this team. He could strenghten our lineup, but he loves that all actions go through one player (Alonso) and we dont have such player now. I hope we get good results, cuz this days are realy depressing. Other fans are extremely optimistic about Chelsea now, and also afraid...same as was with Rdm when he replaced Avb. But seriously, this is JOKE. We play bad, we sack manager every year, we are on way not to pass group stage; first CL winners to play in europa leage, our fans are pissing on OUR own players, other fans are laughing at us, team has no cause and will to do sth, Chelsea is loosing respect every day. Our owner is spoiled and dont give shi* bout fans and club reputation. Board is leaded by bunch of no-brainers. So dissapointed with all situation. I guess we will never learn. All because of coulple of bad games. Because there is no end product. Because there is no striker. No striker, no goals. No goals, no wins. No wins, manager sacked. Circle repeats...A board that showed the fiscal acumen to post a profit last month?A board that has invested hundreds of millions into players?Who gives a fuck what other teams think?REPEAT and fucking sick of repeating this nowRDM was ALWAYS going to be SACKED!If you couldn't see that, then you need to wise up!Why you think they took so long to appoint him in the first place! Also RDM was a good, not GREAT manager, he basically repeated what happened at WBA - couldn't defend for shit! The board don't want to miss out on 4th place so have taken aggressive actin to rectify - only time will tell if this was the right decision. In order to be profitable, CFC needs CL money, missing out will be bad!!!Benitez is actually a decent manager (emotions aside), he got a shit Liverpool team always playing well against us! OneMoSalah 8,886
I guess I'm one of the few who are not too phased with this whole thing. I don't care what other people think of our club. RDM wasn't the man for us. He was clearly going to be sacked anyways and yes while it was too soon, its perhaps better to just accelerate the process before it dragged on (ala AVB) and destroyed our season again.Exactly. Perhaps Roman has thought "we are playing poor and aren't getting better but infact are getting worse, this could get bad" and removed Robbie for the clubs best interests this season. Every time Roman's done this, we've done better. Harsh as it is on Robbie it might work.

That is where the rage comes from...More against the replacement then against the replaced.
Joker10 946
I hope to see a positive reaction on Sunday, especially from our supporters at SB. Lets give Rafa a chance, do it for the players at the very least.

I totally disagree w/ that sentiment. Look at the facts:Now compare Telly Tubby's stats to our previous gaffers under Mr. Abramovich

Hutcho 8,443
After having 12 hours or so to reflect on things the main thing that annoys me is the treatment to Rdm who has been so good to us. Benitez is no one's favourite of course and certainly not mine, but he will do his best for this club and that is all we can ask. He may have said this that and the other, but it was a while ago and he was the manager of a rival club. Time to move on. Also it's not like he is here on a 5 year deal. Roman wants pep, but he has said he won't come back to management til next year... Chill people... Thanks to Rdm for what he has achieved with this club. Now rafa let's go beat city. OneMoSalah 8,886
Ben Jacobs some guy from Sports Talks has tweeted some interesting things yesterday. It seems our situation in the CL was nothing to do with Robbie getting sacked.Ben Jacobs @JacobsBenRafa was offered the job eight days ago, so the midweek Champions League defeat had nothing to do with Di Matteo's dismissal #ChelseaBen Jacobs @JacobsBenIn addition, #Chelsea fans, can reveal Benitez was offered Manchester City job last year but turned it down. Also claims Spurs wanted himBen Jacobs @JacobsBen@chelseafc It is also worth pointing out, as I understand it, Rafa turned down the #ManchesterCity job last year #Chelsea@ChelseaFCBen Jacobs @JacobsBenRafa was actually approached before Di Matteo was hired, but Abramovic decided not to go with him. There was interest though eight months agoAlso something about Torres..45]Ben Jacobs @JacobsBenRafa also told me Torres is nursing a knee injury and, although still playing, it is affecting his form/confidence #ChelseaExpand45]1hBen Jacobs @JacobsBenFinally, Benitez is looking forward to linking up with Fernando Torres again, but revealed he has a knee injury which is affecting his formAnother tweet on this "knee injury"@TweetChelsea_niggling knee injury, nothing major but nothing easily fixable, just grating bone which has resulted in lack of pace/confidence

Look at the facts:Now compare Telly Tubby's stats to our previous gaffers under Mr. AbramovichThey are totally different teams though tbf. I. E. Every Chelsea team for the last 8 years has been better than the teams he has managed so it is unfair to look purely on win percentage.

That's 2 seasons of consistently outperforming everybody else. And RDM only has a small number of games and you are not comparing RDMs WBA record with Benitez!See how stats can lie.Benitez isn't the best but he did well for Liverpool and they are shit - so could do well for us...
