From that link you've posted.

Other versions of this quote refer to ‘stupid plastic flags’ and end with the words ‘Chelsea fans lack passion’, but that will be largely academic when Benitez walks out at Stamford Bridge on Sunday

.

Now, I personally don't hold the Daily Mail in the high esteem you clearly do but it seems as though they're not too sure of the exact wording of this quote which has you so annoyed.

Out of interest, do you know the exact wording of this quote and when exactly it was said?

lol, now I think you are starting to haunt me. You are STILL rattling on about times and dates like you had never heard them. Three or four times I have asked you, and you simply fail to reply each time, so, I'll ask you one last time, Can you recall ANY of the comments The Fat Spanish Waiter has aimed at our club/fans? any?

And no, you are miles out, I don't have any respect for the Daily Mail, it was just one of so, so many that I searched online that contained some of FSW's comments about our club/fans. You know, the ones you can't recall.

Lastly, you have said several times that you will never respond to my posts................and yet.....................

Don't let me stop you.

I can remember them being reported. But when I went to look for them being reported first-hand, I couldn't find mention of them. Now that doesn't mean they weren't said, but it's weird that we've all heard them but we're not sure where from.

Here's the difference though - having seen them reported in the Mail, I didn't trust it blindly but looked for a primary source and couldn't find one. You've kept on mentioning them yet you can't give me your source either.

I probably shouldn't respond because you don't seem to know when something that so enraged you was said. I've never seen such blind faith in the Daily Mail before.

Are you taking something by any chance? I have just said that I have no respect for the Daily Mail, and that it was simply one of countless pages that contained references to the comments from the FSW.

You seem determined to twist my lack of respect for the Daily Mail into blind faith?

I really think you should stop responding to my posts, I'll be only too happy to ignore yours, trust me. We both have different opinions on FSW, which is fine, but you just seem determined to blatantly twist things.

"I don't have any respect for the Daily Mail," =, in your eyes, blind faith???? really? I typed it into a search engine and it was the first one that leapt out. Nothing more, no conspiracy theory, nothing.

Can I ask you one question - have you booed him or chanted against him at any of the games since he took over?

After Chelsea won the Carling Cup in February, Mourinho made reference to an incident in United's game at Tottenham when Ronaldo won a penalty, intimating that he dived. Late last month, Mourinho claimed Ronaldo was "ill-educated, disrespectful and immature" after the 22-year-old had said the manager could never admit a mistake.

Do you think the pair hold previous words against each other now?

Taking swipes is what you do when you are rivals for the same trophies, Jose has taken swipes at us since his departure on more than one occasion, especially during the build up and shortly after our CL tie with Inter.

I've taken swipes at competitors and then worked for them and I'm sure I'm not the only one in that position.

Football is slightly different in that some people feel the need to take everything personally. It's a rather childish mentality, but then football is a rather childish thing to call someone a 'cunt' over. :D

I go to football to enjoy myself - some people are just bitter souls who look to hold on to grudges.

"We don't need to give away stupid plastic flags to our fans to wave, our supporters are always there with their hearts and that is all we need. Its the passion of the fans that helps us to win matches, not flags. Chelsea fans lack passion." -RB

Did he say the highlighted bits?

I tried searching for these quotes in a 2007/2008 article and found none and i can't actually remember this quote either.

What people have to understand is that the FSW said the things he said because he meant it.

I will get a quote asking what I expected him to say and I will tell you: NOTHING! He didnt have to say nice things, but if he didnt want to say bad things, he wouldnt.

Also, Benitez is just using us to get into the spotlight again, so stop with the deluded opinion that this cunt has regreted the horrible things he once said.

For the one hundredth time, he was indeed the best available option, really inst a bad coach and is doing a decent job (despite CWC). That is the only reason I tolerate the guy. However, we must not forget what he did!

The guy loved Liverpool and I am sure he never thought in his wildest dreams that he would be the manager of Chelsea. After the Rdm sacking, the club needed a quick short term solution and Benitez fit the bill perfectly. The Spaniard hadn't managed a top club for years and never got really good offers from any top club after his stint at Inter Milan. He was a desperate qualified manager and the club needed a quick solution after getting rejected by Pep.

Results have been good under him and if he wins us the Premier League title or at least two cup trophies then well I wouldn't mind him on a full time basis.(considering the lack of fan support)

IF Benitez wins EPL, I will thank him and kindly ask for him to continue to live his life far away from CFC!
