DDA 9,983
Hahahahahaha Real Madrid fans want him to replace Mourinho! http://www.marca.com/2013/01/11/futbol/equipos/real_madrid/1357935746.html'>http://www.marca.com/2013/01/11/futbol/equipos/real_madrid/1357935746.html Straight swap anyone? I saw that earlier and straight away lost any respect held for Marca. If true then wow tbh.
Blue Gino 377
I'm reserved to coming out of the season with no trophies with this short term manager since they are transitioning with youth and lowering the wage bill. Unfortunately boo birds at the Bridge aren't helping matters when they should just back the squad. Rafa wasn't going to be sacked before the end of the season anyways but at least he experimented with Luiz in midfield and got the defense to stop shipping goals in frequently. He wants that Madrid job and will try to win here at least rather than take the money and sit there like a certain french winger. It's a young squad, they will have bumps in the road, it's just tough for some to realize the dominance is long gone now and youth is king at Chelsea for the foreseeable future. DDA 9,983
Dude, what are you talking about? Its just a poll, and Benitez won it, how can you lost respect? It was a poll? Oh I didn't even look at the link WHS put up but instead was refering to and article I read earlier from Marca on News Now that Real's President was rumoured to be considering a move for Rafa, life after Jose. What I failed to notice was that it wasn't actually a direct reference from Real's president but instead a fuckng poll.
Changingman_2000 876
Personally, If this wanker is still in charge come the 20th April, I am dreading him walking out of the tunnel at the piggery that is Anfield and beaming at the beatlemania style adulation Snivelpool fans will rain over him. I just know he will do a "Houllier" and make a big thing about touching the badge over the tunnel.Proper cringeworthy
bushman 2,043
Sometimes, I wonder why Chelsea always ends up with these dimwitted managers.Today´s news by Rafa:The spirits of Lamps & Cole remains strong. He does not believe the duo is easing off & just going through the motions. My question. If I were to know that I am not wanted at the club, would I play hard, perform the best for the club ?I can not believe Rafa is all there, sometimes. Some football fans are crazy. The whole world sees how pathetic Ferda plays. Meanwhile, he thinks he is coming back to his previous form. I can not believe it.If I were him, I would admit that Ferda is useless & consequently get fans on my side, instead of defending him.
Leif 6,006
That excuse he's used for Torres playing like shit vs. Swansea because of a 'stomach bug' is literally one of the worst things I've ever heard.

The only place to be 11,313
ChelsTransferGossip @ChelsTransferSeveral Spanish outlets reporting that Pep Guardiola will be offered a salary of €22m per year and total control #CFC pic.twitter.com/JNk9cQ9ZI like the idea of committing so much money to a manager. It makes him much harder to sack. The total control thing I'm not so keen on because I actually think that the board have made some good moves in the market, but I assume this is pretty much a bs story anyway. The most exciting thing with him coming in could be having a fresh set of eyes evaluating all of the talent at the club. That can only be good for players like Chalobah, Feruz and McEachran.
bushman 2,043
When Rafa was signed I thought he could help Torres. Now, I see he is powerless. No one can help Ferda, I feel. The only one just might help the club is Roman. Just by packing his bags & sending him to some Spanish bull´s arena. Tomo 21,751
I find it funny how the myth going round is Benitez was only appointed to get the best out of Torres.May it occur that there was just no better manager around available and ready for work mid season.Unless their are people who rate McLeish? Tomo 21,751
Redknapp was available at the time... He would have been a disaster in every sense of the word. The complete opposite to what we need.

bushman 2,043
Most of us agree Rafa was not brought in to rescue Torres only. However, he came in with the hope to help Ferda too.
