  1. 1. Rafa Out?

Recommended Posts

as always my support goes to the travelling fans especially ...but now my sympathy is with the season ticket holders who have paid in advance ...and yet on here have been criticised for not backing the manager and team

I've 2 Home STH and the 2 Away ones.

My seats are in the MHL as you'll guess and tbh there are a number around me who just like to moan, however we're playing anyway, but and here's the 'FSW Factor' kicking in, even the lads who are alright have had enough. They/we weren't happy in the first place with his appointment, but at home especially we've been consistently poor, save the Villa game and the first half against Arsenal, where in my view they didn't turn up, as soon as they pulled their finger out we looked mediocre again.

I'm not one for stating "well I've paid my money, that entitles me to boo or voice my own feelings". Booing any player is almost always counterproductive, however I and a good few around me are discussing how we can show the club the level of disgust we have for this bloke and how the club appear to us to be treating him differently than most of our recent managers. It's my choice to spend the money watching football and I do it willingly, I do wish however there was a decent way of getting messages to the club that our loyalty is being stretched to the limit now.

How is he getting away with not being removed from the position beggers belief, anyone in the recent past would have been! If it's because whoever makes the decisions feels we're better off with him than without him, think a bloody gain. He's a disaster and it'll get worse.

Reminder ;

The Fat cunt is still here scoffing his face and....

After being in charge for 20 competitive games (as many as RDM got this season), Rafa has:

- Won fewer games

- Lost more matches

- Drawn more matches

That sums it up. Normally, when a new manager is appointed, there can be an upturn in results. Its just stale with El Wankstain in charge.

What a daft opinion to have. Most of the people who have voted no or are undecided most likely ponder if sacking him during the season would bring any positive effect at all. Nothing to do with being somehow Torres fanboy nor any other adjective from your educative vocabulary.

" any positive effective", really???. u can name any human or living species or even a damn chair or a table as the chelsea manager, and that will have a "positive effect" on the fans which would effect the team.

he is probably the only manager in the last 8-9 years in chelsea who knows that he wont be fired irrespective of how the team is performing. no other manager has had that liberty and leeway. and believe almost all of them were sacked for far less worse. yet the team cant perform, the manager cant make motivate them for cup semifinals and finals. he has no plan B. scratch that he has no PLAN A. our attack has no meaning, no substance. its way too restricted and constrained compared to rdm's and we cant defend to save our lives.

for someone who is considered to be a MASTER TACTICIAN, his substitutions are more like a 2 or 3 year olds'. ""IF I HAVE TAKEN OUT A STRIKER I SHOULD SUBSTITUTE HIM ONLY WITH A STRIKER, AND SIMILARLY FOR DEFENDERS"". his tactics never change, and never do the formantions even if its for the last 2 mins.

so what exactly is he helping with????

u would forgive and forget all of this if we were getting the right results but unfortunately even that is not the case. the mood in the fans and the players seems worse than ever before (except for when we were playing under scholari, but if u compare this moment to avb's last ones, u ll think the players were having a ball).

so tell me y exactly would it not have "any positive effect"

if u are worried about the media , then i am sorry to inform u that even without firing him , the media is anti-chelsea.

if u are worried we might become the laughing stock of the footballing world then again i m sorry to inform u that we already are that, but i would not blink an eye before making a decision of keeping FSW or getting top 4.

another reason can be that managers would be unwilling to come to chelsea because of the hire and fire policy but again most of them are pretty much aware of the situation going on and our NO.1 target just snubbed us for this reason (pep), so it would not be anything new or shocking. infact most of us under normal circumstances would be expecting a headline any time soon.

so y this absolutely unnecessary support towards FSW over the welfare of the club... how am i wrong in saying that people are putting their weird love for the ladyboy and FSW over this club when for me its absolutely clear that him going out is the best thing that would hapen to this club (and believe me that does include 19.05.12)

After the game El Blobbo said "It was 85 minutes and we knew that it could be this kind of situation.

We had to keep the ball in the last minute and score the third goal."

Its bizarre that a top hahahaha!! manager thinks away from home 0-2 up with 5 minutes to go you have to get a third goal. So this bloke is being paid millions of pounds. Thats the trouble with lucky billionaires money ''easy come, easy go'', just waste it ona fat joker.

Doesn't anybody else think this whole situation is just a tad ironic?

Well Roman has been criticized by the world & his brother for being 'trigger happy' for the want of a phrase associated with our ever revolving managers door, yet when we want him to wield the axe, Roman let's him hang around like a bad smell..........

Trouble is the aroma is the whiff of failure and its coming from a rather large Spanish bottom!

The reason why I'm trying not to blast Benitez from every angle is because he alone is not to be blamed. That's something a lot of you are so biased about. You only see positive about RDM, Lampard etc and every negative goes on the shoulders of the manager. I agree that his tactics are monotonous and boring but many of the games we have blown are as much got to do with players not putting in a performance and being wasteful. Take for example the game against Reading, we didn't even concede shots on target for 87 minute, we dominated, we were leading 2-0. Last 8 minutes were absolutely horrible from our defenders, leaving opposition players unmarked. You can't be so blind to say that Rafa should have cleared the ball himself? Men not marking properly fucked it up, they lost concentration. I'm sure you'll reply saying Rafa should have motivated blablabla, but god - if they need guidance in every step they take, can't motivate THEMSELVES to put in a performance then I'm really doubting their desire to play for us.

Regarding substitutions: we had quite a defensive lineup already. This isn't paper rock scissors, where the only right sub would be to take off attacker and replace him with a defender (formation 4-2-3-1). That only sends out a message to our opponent to attack, attack, attack. Having no FW upfront will mean we will lose almost every long ball from our GK, we will need to start defending from our half and wouldn't have a striker in their side of the field to start closing down early. When Ba came on, we gained areal threat and he won a couple of air balls right away. Ba can be an attacker, but that shouldn't stop him from doing defensive work with fresh legs while also offering a counter attack option. When it comes to Mata, he picked up a knock and was subbed for Benayoun. That alone is a good reason to sub him but also Benayoun is all in all a better defensive player. Having Turnbull in goal and brainfart prone Ivanovic paired with Cahill doesn't make me feel that confident either. Ivan is one of my favourite players, because of his passion and desire to work for the team, but did he fuck up against Swansea, single-handedly lost the cup tie.

Sacking a manager can let you and many others sleep tighter at night but I'm not so sure it will do the club any good. We don't have the squad to have a proper run at 3 fronts - Europa League, EPL and FA Cup. Even then our players are young, this is a transition season. We have been unlucky with injuries to our older players, important squad players going on tournaments, bans etc. We don't have character in the dressing room. Our only true leader figure has been injured for long periods and has only featured for the club a bit over 1000 minutes this season. You can't replace a captain with passing the armband on, you either are a leader or you're not and only natural leader we have has only featured less than 1/3 of the playing-time. It's baffling how winning the Champions League and FA cup last season has covered the cracks we had even BACK then. We might have bought in Azpilicueta, Hazard, Moses, Oscar, Marin but they aren't ready yet to take over the role our old guard had played so far. Keep in mind, they all are still very young and we can't expect them to solve our problems just like that, especially with exploiting certain players week in week out without having much option to rotate it around due to reasons mentioned before.

To round it off, Rafael Benitez has no future in this club. He doesn't have the support of the fans and that's a big factor for being successful. For someone called a good tactician, his so called 'brilliance' hasn't shown through, but it is very daft to say that he is the solo culprit for our troubles. Players should and must also take some stick. Sacking Rafa won't somehow magically make our squad bigger and players more fresh. In no way does having 3 manager being in charge of Chelsea in only one season (with an option of a 4th in the summer) make us magically play better. Would mean that the players would have to re-adapt to a 3rd playing style in one season. It takes time to mold players into your tactics and it can't be done in a few months. Also keeping Rafa can send out a message to potential next managers that even in darker times he will be having a chance to redeem himself. I also think that we are firmly in the place to attain 3rd place and that's a positive sign, because our problems started to show same time last season, funny how recent success managed to cover it up, and we can't expect young players we brought in during summer transfer window to fix this problem in such a short period of time. Hopefully the new manager can address these issues and will be given time by our board and more recently - our fans. This is a more complex situation than we might think.

Maybe sacking him wont have so many positive effects, it wont turn the things around drastically but I'm sure there is not a single negative thing in it.

There is. The financial aspect. Club would have to buy out his contract plus compensation. It doesn't make sense till end of season.

Yes. Widely quoted on various media.

the bigger malaise is the hierarchy and particularly the board. They are responsible for the fat waste of space and dozens of other fuck ups since Abramovich bought the club.
