We play at home and thats the biggest relief. At Anfield, you realy dont know what could happen.

If we will play our game, we should win, but Lpool are very dangerous in attack, and we have outform defence. Plus their defence always looks rock solid against us. Lets just win for

Not sure if that has sth to do with the specific situation of chasing than with the cumulated effect of our lack of performance and more important luck in particular games in comparison with the Team we were chasing (mostly Utd), which can be deduced to us being chelsea thus constantly in the situation of having more than 11 men against us and/or not having the squad to accomplish our title bid.

But agree. Being the team chasing is always shite cos there is an extra pressure.

It's so frustrating to see that we are unable to just grinding out results as Utd does. i do not demand to have that much luck and the ref on our side all the time but a bit more concentration when it matters. We did it last season, why not now? Btw where Villa shite in the 2nd half and lucky to score or had the ref some gifts for Utd?

Dont be so negative, of course we can still win. Just look at the team we have, we need a couple of players to complete the team for now. If we get someone like falcao or Cavani, our attack would be DEADLY especially with our 3 magicians.

Yes we can still win the title, but it's naive to think we definitely will, I still believe we'll finish 3rd due to us being a side in transition. We're building for the future, and as long as we give it a valiant effort this season I'll be happy.

If we dont win this then the team does not have what it takes to win the EPL. Its game like these where you have to prove yourself.

Think you keep forgetting this is a TRANSITION year - expecting us to win the league is a bit much..

I thought the consensus opinion was maybe one of the cups and a guaranteed 4th place (3rd would be better) in the league.

That's what I'm judging my expectations on.

Next season, players should be fully adapted and understand each other with maybe a couple more summer signings.

Have no qualms about JT form - neither should anybody.

He also has a point to prove after Carroll made him look like a Donkey last season - nutmegged him twice IIRC.
