Reddish-Blue 2,505
Loan the most direct player in our squad out, replace him with another attacking midfielder who we will stick on the wing. Goodbye all directness and variation. To compete we need a good squad, but with different sorts of players. We already have 3 or 4 number 10 like players in Mata, Hazard, Oscar and De Bruyne, an inside forward in Andre Schurrle and then Moses who is direct. Look at United, they used Nani, Kagawa, Valencia, Young on their wings at times last year. All different players. Nani is similar to Valencia as in they are both direct players. Young and Kagawa prefer to come inside so they can score goals/link with Rooney. We need to have that sort of variation in our squad. If we sell/loan Moses and then when we are playing too narrow, who will we bring on to stretch teams? We will be pretty fucked.I agree that Moses is capable of being that direct player on the RW/LW for us...but realistically, how many games will he get to play this season?Unless Willian or De Bruyne pick up injuries, it's hard to see Moses getting game time on either wing. Henrique 9,133
The Villa game, for example, was crying out for someone like Moses. Villa had packed the center and there were tons of spaces on the wings yet Hazard, Oscar and Mata and even Schurrle later were for some reason insisting on cutting inside every time and playing a pass to Ba who had his back to goal and was surrounded by 5-6 Villa players. One small gap in your logic: We don't buy a lot of Nigerian players. We only have Moses and Mikel who was bought before Emanelo became the director of football at the club. We dont because they are not good. Moses was the only Nigerian around that would fit in Chelsea transfer politics: young and winger, and he even had PL experience. The fact that Emenalo is from same country played a part on the deal, as simple as that.

meetdoscar 335
Am sure he will do very well where ever he goes that is if? he goes in the first place bcoz so far its all speculation. I actually thought he is the kind of player mourinho will like strong, power, pace, good in the air, direct and most importantly a true winger. I'd love to see him at liverpool or everton if its a loan so he could trouble our rivals.
Ollie 4,400
Had a decent pre season and is quick, strong and can score a goal or 2 and can use his head. We have no other winger like him. I'd actually be pretty shocked if he went, he's a 'Jose type of player' imo. We do have enough though, i just want us to become weak. The fact that Emenalo is from same country played a part on the deal, as simple as that.nonsense. as simple as that. moses put in briliant performances against united, arsenal and in general was one of the best players in the league in the last month or so of the 2011-12 season.we had already splashed out cash to get oscar, hazard, azpi, marin. what we had needed at that moment was a squad player who would fill in the quota of the HG player and wont be costly at all. moses for 7mil was a GOOD DEAL. his transfer had nothing to do with the fact that he and emanalo are nigerian.a lot of weird and absolutely rubbish opinions are posted on this forum but yours in beyond comparision. pHaRaOn, Stats and Mouri_Matic

But that is completely different than saying that we bought Moses because he is Nigerian. We bought him because he is a good young winger who had PL experience and would fit in the homegrown quota. The fact that he's Nigerian might have helped the deal but that's not why we bought him. yuvala

GermanBlue 82
There's also interest from Schalke. But that shouldn't be taken serious if they don't qualify for Champions League group stages. If they do, I think that'll be the best destination for Victor.

bushman 2,043
Not sure if sarcasm or not..No sarcasm. More like reality. Moses should be given a chance to play elsewhere. Later Chelsea will look at his progress & act accordingly. Anything wrong with it ?

Idealy I would have liked him to play a role here like he did last season if we had not bought Willian (and that guy who's last name sounds like a sneeze). bababoom

Liverpool...whoever takes him. As long as he gets to play, develop to a better player & then Chelsea decide whether to take him back or sell him for some profit. To some of you, it might be questionable dealings, but to me business as usual, as I have seen over the last several years by Chelsea. Certainly, I approve of it.
