Ok ok i see , maybe you should know that Ivanovic has something called experience , he saved us against Liverpool years ago in the Champions League , he scored a wonder goal against Napoli , was amazing in all the important match , and his crosses are very good, stop saying that he is shit because of his pre season ,because Branna is simply a leader , and his presence on the pitch is important for the squad , defensively he is much much better that Azpilicueta , i like Marseille a lot , i watch la Ligue 1 and i can tell you that yes he is a good player , but his crosses are not so good, his main ability is his speed , which Branislav don't have , so if Azpi comes he'll be the replace Branislav like Bosingwa did ,,he'll never be a 'titulaire' in the team.

Azpilicueta is very young , in the matches of Premier League against supposed weak teams , he'll help a lot , giving us pace and technique , but in important matches , Branislav Ivanovic is our main man.

Wtf are you watching?

Apparently an opening bid of €7 million was rebuffed. Marseilles want €10 million or so the rumours suggest.

Its good that we have started biding low so we can probably get him for 8-9 million! I really hope he can stay in london after the game toonight and have his medical!

Offer them £5 million plus Essien or Malouda, that should hopefully be accepted and we can get rid of at least one parasite.

They may not be good anymore but to call them parasites even Malouda is just plain pathetic and OTT.

Chelsea have seen their first bid for Marseille full-back Cesar Azpilicueta rejected.

The Blues offered just £5.4million for the Spain international, almost £3m below the French club's asking price. They are expected to bid again by the end of week.

Last week, the troubled former Ligue 1 champions admitted they would have to sell before they can buy as they look to arrest an alarming slump since they won the title in 2010.

The club's sporting director Jose Anigo, said: 'Everybody has to sell before buying. In effect, it could either be (Stephane) M’Bia and Azpi.'

Arsenal have previously been linked with a move for the 22-year-old who missed a large portion of the 2010/11 season - his first in France following a move from Osasuna - after suffering knee ligament damage.

However he returned to fitness and went on be one of Marseille's most accomplished players, despite those around him struggling.

European champions Chelsea have already splashed out more £70m on transfer fees this summer, bringing in a raft of attacking talent, but admitted last week they were still in the market.

Chief executive Ron Gourlay said: 'While we ended with a very strong season, it was clear that there were some areas where we did have to strengthen, so we knew we were always going to have to do that.

'If the right players become available at the right time, we will sign them. We've done that and we are still continuing to look at one or two positions and we will see how that develops over the next couple of weeks.'
