OneMoSalah 8,886
Lewandowski, with Hazard and Mata behind him hes bound to score trillions of goals.
Rambo 1,729
I have a feeling we'll end up with Jovetic.
Leif 6,006
... i really don't understand why people like or think we'll end up with Jovetic.I highly doubt the club want a support-striker (winger if needed; even attacking midfield) player with a history of terrible injuries and can rarely put away headers to lead our front-line. He's not exactly prolific, doesn't have a great work-rate, is inconsistent and blah blah blah. I want Drogba
ymalleb 14
if Torres fail to re-establish himself as the main striker, i have little doubt that we might offload him as a part of transfer package to get Falcao. Knowing Roman, nothing is impossible.
azinopik 10
I hope Roman understand that Torres is just the second sheva. Grab Falcao this winter by £ 20 mio + Torres
Spike 12,049
I really wish David Villa wasn't 30. Apparently Messi went off at Villa during the game against Granada, I'm sure it's nothing but the media sure is mlking this situation. Apparently Messi does lambast a lot of his team mates, especially the younger ones.http://soccernet.espn.go.com/blog/_/name/barcelona/id/218?cc=3436

dumps 284
Walcott on SSN saying he may be leaving arsenal because he wants to play as a stirker instead of on the wing.anyone see him as a useful striker? i personally see Sturridge as a better player than walcott but they are both very similar, but with sturridge looking like he may not even be a chelsea player after january (and if not january, his contract expires this year and i dont see him renewing it unless he gets some serious game time) it could be a good replacement?leaving the rivalry out of it; what are your thoughts? BOSS 372
Lewandowski,Jovetic would be great but yeh i would Sturridge a chance first.
Spike 12,049
I like Theo Walcott. He gets a lot of stick on here but sometimes I believe that us only because he plays for that one club.
The Skipper 20,609
Theo is decent indeed but he wouldn't get a chance here upfront ahead of Danny.

dumps 284
im thinking of walcott as moee of a replacement for sturridge... as it stands, Sturridge will not be a chelsea player at the end of the season. like i said, he's not going to sign a new contract unless he gets a lot more game time. Kez 2,727
Looking at this picture shows, how much we really need a new striker. Look at the alternatives if Torres & Sturridge get injured. Very worrying.
Bosnian Blue 2,471
Looking at this picture shows, how much we really need a new striker. Look at the alternatives if Torres & Sturridge get injured. Very worrying.Lukaku can be recalled if the situation is extremely difficult. This decision (the whole Torres and new striker thing) is to be made next summer, not in January. It would be the most sensible and the wisest way of dealing with it. No need to make another panic buy and overpay certain players. I think this team can make it to top 4 even without strikers, that's how good I think we are. ulvhedin 526
there are strong rumors that Lewandowski has some problems with Borussia managment.. But to tell te truth I'm still not convinced that he is world class footballer.. anyway he would be much cheaper than Cavani and Falcao
