I believe the WC is responsible for his latest dull performances. I am wainting patiently for his 2014/15 season. How can the World Cup be to blame for Oscar's recent inability to generate any lift on the ball when making a cross-field pass, or his choosing to shoot when a pass is much the better option or his completely wayward shots, etc.? It has to be more than just the forthcoming WC.

It has to be more than just the forthcoming WC.I am sorry. It was not my intention to be fully rational about it. That's why i used the work believe. I just hope that because WC is mostly on his mind the pressure got him. It's either that or something to do with Mata departure or an injury. Can't be anything else that we as fans can figure out. I give the last two possibilities very little chance so i believe it's the WC argument.
htamraz 0
Man, Oscar, Luiz, and Ramirez need to get a grip!...Unfortunate for most brazilians, once they are in the spot-light they lose flair... I pray they come back to form before tomorrow's game.I also hope Willian continues to shine!
bushman 2,043
Since Luiz is not used much, I can understand his frustrations. Ramires has been banned for much longer than he plays. As for Oscar, his mind is not in London, I feel.

robsblubot 3,595
Let's forget about his lack of creativity and his inability to pick up a pass (much less assist someone) for a second here. The boy can barely run! I actually remember how he used to play in the beginning of the season, and his movement was absolutely fantastic. He'd be all over the place, moving into channels opening up spaces for him and his teammates, whcih also improved the odds of assisting and/or scoring. Now I look at him and he doesn't move... doesn't chase as much. Doesn't tackle as much. What the hell is going on?I don't think we are going to get the answer though. The club will attempt to hide that until the season is over. No need to give too much information to your opponents at thsi point, but I have no doubt something is off with him. lionsden, kellzfresh and DYC.

lionsden 4,689
Think Madrid would swap Oscar for Isco?Even florentino is not that stupid. On second thought, he might just be, given his track record of awful decision making.

laura90 556
Isco is a ideal #10. Playmaker to the fullest.Does he run after fullbacks for entire 90 minutes? If not he is far from ideal playmaker for us. lionsden
Oscar 441
And the minute Isco goes off form, there will be cries for 'Can we swap Isco for Player X?'...Exactly.... Isco has rarely played this season and is now an ideal playmaker... Mohammed Seif
Oscar 441
The ideal playmaker is the Croatian in madrid. He is pretty much better than oscar in every facet of the game and would fit with Jose's tactics. However, getting him would cost a leg and arm. xPetrCechx
