Jase 43,479
absolutely nonsensical, Jason. Yep, you actually have a point - as if his goals wasn't one of the reasons why Lamps has always been important to us, whether it's free kick, a penalty or open play.Whatever you say... You have completely deviated from the point...
Barbara 15,149
You have completely deviated from the point...I haven't. My point was how they touch the ball, how Oscar is stepping up in the midfield and scoring goals that are winning us matches and I found a picture of it on internet to illustrate it. Something that also doesn't deviate from the point is you picking up this kind of discussions in threads. It's annoying, boring and old. Have you ever realized how many times you start pointless discussions for the sake of nitpicking people? It's a trademark. An annoying one. CHOULO19 24,332
But it's nice to have one that can step up and replace him as a player in the midfield. And hopefully in the free kicks too. I sure hope not! Although Frank produced the rare worldie, his FK taking was generally below average to put it lightly. He's literally hit the wall 8 times out of 10 nyikolajevics and Barbara

Popular Post! Cescy 40 Posted October 18, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted October 18, 2014 Mourinho on Oscar's performance today: "He did fantastically against Arsenal and again today. Hes the number 10 that plays with the ball at his feet. Hes a number 10 that looks back and to the side. He analyses the game and sees where the team needs him. He creates balances." "For example, in the first half when they had McArthur man to man on Fabregas, I was so happy with that because Fabregas was taking McArthur from the central area and Oscar was dropping back to play. Him and Matic controlled the game completely for us." "Oscar has had a mental and tactical evolution that has allowed him to be a fantastic player. Can he physically improve? Of course, but people forget hes still so young. There are great conditions in front of him to keep improving." http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2014/Oct%2014/final-whistle-verdict--imposing-our-game.html DJames, Term-X, Dion and 6 others

Jase 43,479
you just made me laugh nowFor the record, I don't go purposely nitpick people's post for no reason or amusement. Sometimes, it's just that the fella did not make his/her point clear to begin with. Nobody wants to be annoying if they can help it!

Special Juan 28,141
Delighted to see him back in full flight again, buzzing for the lad. Like a lot of players he just suffered a dip, we all knew his qualities and it's great to see him playing such good football again.FK was fucking sublime. CHOULO19 24,332
It wasn't just the FK as well (or the assist), he was instrumental for the team throughout the match and especially in the first half when Cesc was being man-marked. kellzfresh
Barbara 15,149
It's not uncommon for Oscar to play well at this time of the year. I really hope he carries on this form throughout the whole season. It's after December that he struggles...But I'm happy with his current form after a horrible spring and the WC disappointment and humiliation. But we all know he's capable of those things, he just needs to consistently deliver them or at least be less inconsistent (at age 23 ups and downs are expected, the problem is that he goes through long spells of each)
