CHOULO19 24,332
Comparing him to the others he was clearly not that bad as you describe him. It's not about the others in his team, it's about showing the coaches back at Chelsea that he can evolve into a player that can be Chelsea player. But him to do that, he first needs to win a starting spot at his current team. Chelsea?
Stats 7,142
Scored to put his team 1-0 up against Frankfurt in their cup match. Boy has been given a start and he has taken it. Way to go. zolayes and Bir_CFC

OneMoSalah 8,886
Really have high hopes for Thorgan, he seems to be doing well at Mochengladbach. Hopefully he will be here at Chelsea next season or if thats too soon the year after, really was skeptical about his signing due to the fact we'd just gotten Eden too and I thought it was just because we'd sigmed Eden but I can really see him playing in our first team soon, he looks a great player in the making. ParNolio7 285
He is doing very well but I can't see him in Chelsea's Starting XI Way way way too early to make any statements about that.First step was showing himself at Mönchengladbach, I think he's been doing just that, 3 goals in 2 EL matches, another goal yesterday, a couple of assists already.Next step is becoming a regular starter for BMG. Then an indispensable, stand-out player. Then he can move to Chelsea and try to give the boys in the starting XI a run for their money. But we could be talking two or three seasons from now. He's got the potential, you see that in his touches, that's all what matters for the moment. If I'm honest I really can see him playing alongside Eden at The Bridge one day. But maybe I'm just dreaming The Skipper
Svita 10 186
I want to succeed here more than any Chelsea loan players. I am dreaming of the moment when he exchanged the ball with Eden and then celebrated goal like mad, with all smiles and high five :blue scalf: ParNolio7

Polo7 3,496
I can only imagine the hate Mourinho will get from certain "fans" if Thorgan doesnt make it here. Be like the whole Lukaku and KDB saga. What do all 3 have in common I wonder....

Christacinto 137
i agree mate I honestly don't... I think he's nowhere near physical enough to assert himself in the Premier League. It's all fine doing it at Zulte and even in the Bundesliga, but playing under Mourinho in the Premier League is a whole different ball game.Still a long way to go before he becomes the machine he needs to be to be given a run at Chelsea's.That being said, I hope I'm wrong :dude:
LukakutoStamford 779
It has nothing to do with country of origin in any players case. The issue with Lukaku was that his style of play didn't fit with Mourinho and he's severely limited as a target man at the moment.Re: De Bruyne it didn't work and I suspect it was De Bruyne's poor tackling/defensive work that did him inRe: Thorgan no one can tell if he's talented enough to make it at Chelsea. The bigger issue is that absent Eden the AMs appear severely limited in the ability to create and distribute for others so much so that God forbid anything happen to Eden Chelsea would be in serious difficulty in terms of creating goals. My comment was moreso an indictment of the current AMs on the squad rather than Thorgan's skill/ability level.Truth be told if prompts Jose to get Sterling/Reus etc to fix the issue then great. Thorgan is a promising player that could help provide a different playmaking skill set than his brother as to whether that will happen at Chelsea is anyone's guess. iseah100, Danny Boyukliev and the wes
lionsden 4,689
I said from day one that he should have taken Salah's slot as there was no need for buying the Egyptian and nothing has changed that pov. However football is unpredictable and Thorgan could have easily ended up as bad as Mo has been in the first team afterall he was voted the best player in the swiss league before we bought him. but there's only one way to find out if keeping him would have been a better decision and that's by adding him to the first team next season. beyondinvisible 47
No player turns into a star overnight even if they have the talent. Assuming he does get the chance to play for Chelsea, he will need time to adjust to the league and to his teammates, plus the manager's style and philosophy.
