"Chelsea showed us a lot of repsect by playing like the away side ! Their celebrations at the end spoke volumes , Chelsea are pinning their hopes on a injury prone 34 year old forward ,and sturridge who will never be a 10 goal a season player ,we have aguero, dzeko and balotelli already with 30 goals between them,no contest."

Its sure going to be very hard for Sturridge to get three goals in half a season :wank2:

sounds as if is moving from blue heaven to blue funk

I read a story yesterday in The Guardian on how Mancini regrets letting Sturridge go. Sorry if it's been posted before.

E: Just saw RZA posted it on this page. Shame on me :(

He's possibly just showing respect for Sturridge. Obviously it was a crime that they let him leave, but now they have a fabulous team and won't mourn too much over the loss. Mancini always struck me as a very classy manager unlike his cnut neighbor.

Really gave Balotelli some credit when he gave Sturridge a respectful 'hi-5' as he was leaving the field. Classy touch.

Mancini has been first class as a man dealing with some very difficult individuals. If balotelli can blossom under mancini i dont think he will with anyone. Id be interested to see if he drops yaya toure after last night as felt he behaved appalingly. As a senior member of a side and the one the majority would look up he was bordering on trying to get sent off. The way he tried to rake ramires achilles was shocking. Could of done alot of damage.

Anyone think Chelsea should reward him with the #11 shirt, once Drogba leaves?

Thats For Lukaku.

Btw...Studge looks like the bargain of the last decade along with Frank Lampard. An even better bargain than Robben for 12m. Hopefully he stays at the club but something tells me he will start throwing his toys in couple of years and look to move to Real Madrid because at Chelsea he doesnt get to play his preferred CF role. When that happens I hope we sell him for 80m
