Look Danny himself said this was like the 5th time he has started as a Striker, the other appearances where as a Sub.

You cannot expect miracles, he did his job to the best of his ability, he has potential and like our other players, if given time will improve.

Do I still think we need Falcao, yes.

Do I want to see Danny playing more? Yes

Can we realistically compare Danny to Torres after 1 full game? No!

So lets chill, use the COC to assess Danny further and then see where we need to be.

One thing I do admire with Danny though, no matter how bad he fucks up, he never hides and will always want another go, this is a big difference to Torres and makes me believe this boy old be something special in the future...

I think sturridge needs to back. As a striker, you shouldn't been playing like he did yesterday against Man U. We could have scored about 10 goals. Man U did not have a good day and we had all the chances to hammer them. Sturridge and Romeu's performance was abysmal

Of course they have to be judged the same, judging someone less leniently than another person playing in that same position doesn't make any sense as we should expect a certain standard from a player in that position. Also by your explanation your saying we should not be judging Lampard just on this season but on all of his performances from past seasons? I feel this is also going to go into a Torres debate

No! Chelsea should just institute a new policy starting in January. Any player who misses an easy chance or makes an error that leads to a goal, immediately gets sold.. - vs Bolton

- vs Newcastle

At the end of the day the guy got a goal and set up two goal-scoring chances for Moses. If that's him being 'abysmal' and 'awful' and other crass hyperbole that's been said, I can't wait till he's actually given a few more chances, and is allowed to improve to the point of being 'good'.
