rantdeville 195
He's got such a buttery touch in the final third. Every time he squares up against a defender, ya just know he's gonna get past him. Really exciting watching him with Mata, Hazard, and Oscar. nachikethas

KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
That deal would make no sense from our point or view unless we're planning to buy Hulk and Cavani which is highly unlikely.
Rambo 1,729
Sturridge is too good to sit on the bench. His dribbling ability and pace would be of great use on the right wing. nadavTKL
Wavy Crockett 190
with all the competitions we're in this season Sturridge will definitely get a lot of playing time and startshe's definitely got a darker, "I don't give a f" type attitude after his unfortunate end to the season, omission from Euro squad and elimination of Team GB from the Olympicscan see him have a good run of form this autumn
Hutcho 8,443
Sturridge is too good to sit on the bench. His dribbling ability and pace would be of great use on the right wing.I agree, he should definately play instead of ramires at RW as he offers much more in an attacking sense... We should also get him to watch our 4th goal yesterday over and over again where we passed it to the better option, even when he could have shot and probably scored... Realistically though he won't play there as it will be pretty silly to play our only two striking options at the same time as it gives us no options to change anything up top, not until we get a 3rd striker. BleedsBlue 1,549
Sturridge is a good player for us on the right, don't know why he has to keep crying to play as striker.Look at Hazard, he said his preferred role is as a no 10 but will play anywhere for the team. We need that type of attitude from Sturridge.Sturridge has been at the club for 3 years and having played almost every game as a winger last season,he deserves to be heard. He proved himself as forward in Bolton colors and did more than adequate enough for us as a winger. He is a natural striker and should be played as one.Tell Torres to play as a winger for 5 games stretch and then you will know what really 'crying' means. The Skipper 20,609
So now Sturridge is good enough to start? Funny how one game can change people's opinion so much.
Leif 6,006
He. Cannot. Simply. Just. Play. On. The. Wing. This is honestly so baffling. The same people crying out that we have enough strikers are saying play Sturridge on the wing? Then what happens if Sturridge is injured? Who is Torres' back-up?What if Torres gets injured instead and Sturridge plays up-front. Do we just put Ramires on the right wing again?
Madmax 9,219
I don't like how he simply ignored his teammates afte the winning goal, ambling away to the other side of the pitch for a drink instead.

Madmax 9,219
Also, a .gif of that volleyed cross-field pass to Hazard from our own half late on in the game would be appreciated. That was a beaut. Manuf

Jase 43,479
Liverpool set to renew Sturridge interesthttp://soccernet.esp...nterest?cc=4716I stopped reading it when I saw "ESPN Sources" in the second paragraph. BS story. No way we'll sell Sturridge and leave ourselves even shorter in numbers upfront.

The guy was almost 30 years old and had played the striker role for many other clubs before. Danny has all the right to complain about being played out of position and its just sad that some fans overlook him and doubt his potential. He should forget about the C.F position for now because it will be handed to him when rdm realises that torres is gonna cost him his job Muzchap
