Depends on the striker. If it's someone like Jovetic/Cavani..then you'd have to pay at least 30 million.

Personally, I think our biggest problem is defence at the moment. We are leaking soft goals. Terry is ageing/hasn't been the same since the whole Anton saga...Luiz is sometimes good, sometimes a headless chicken..Cahill is an alright defender, a bit vulnerable against speedy strikers but he does his best...for me, the problem lies at CB.

I fully agree. The boys are scoring goals from all over the park so a striker isn't needed per sey but it would be a nice luxury. If the defence can be fixed and brought back to the standards of the Mourinho era, there is nothing stopping Chelsea winning the BPL.

*cough*Mertesacker*cough*Boateng*cough*. Bundesliga defenders only look good against Bundesliga oppositions. If u take the strong ones from there like Kompany, they might be able to handle physical EPL-opponents and succeed, but I am not so sure about guys like Höwedes.

The Bundesliga isn't that far off from the BPL. I think people overrate the BPL in general. Things like "Brazilians can't survive in the physical BPL" really grate my nervs. The BPL isn't more 'physical' than any other league, it's has it's own style which is box to box action but to say it's more physical is weird.

I have watched Bundesliga and BPL a lot and the BuLi is no match for the Prem. In England football is played much faster, more straightforward and in general with more quality. the physical is much higher in terms of strength and endurance. In the Bundesliga there are games that are mere slapstick shows between teams that might not even get in the championship. Additionally the Bundesliga does not really have the financial power to attract worldclass players if they are not cast-outs of a bigger club and even then only Bayern who become wealthy through alot of corruption within the federal state of Bavaria and Edmund Stoiber's extreme fondness for the club. In the BuLI there might be 2 or 3 clubs with a plan how to develop themselves the others only look at their balances and don't give a fuck about strategic investions. Teams like Stuttgart, Hamburg, Wolfsburg with solid financial background always achieve to manoeuvre themselves into situations like just avoiding relegations, because they buy loads of medicore players from shit leagues without an idea of fitting them into their squad. the Bundesliga is such "competition" because every team including bayern fucks it up regularly. Only in a shit league like bundesliga those teams eventually become champion. German football has not won a single international trophy since more than ten years. They might have a decent youth development but that's it, Every time they produca a half decent player outside of bayern and moemntarily Dortmund (whose rise was only possible because everyone else fucked it up once again) they immediately have to sell it. To conclude the BuLi is only a slightly better version of shit leagues like France or Brazil no way near Spain or even England. I would rate the league of Italy way higher if they would reealise their full potential and would not be stuck in scandals.

I also watched him in CL (last year and this) and also few games vs Bayern. And he was quite impressive on most of them. If you want to point out that he makes many mistakes, then Kompany, Pique, Ramos,...all do lot of mistakes. Its weird that their teams still win 80% of all the games anyway despite they are their teams best defenders. Funny fact. If Hummels would be bad defender, his club would concede many goals. However he is Borusia best CB and that team is doing very well In defence since he and Subotic are playing regulary. Luiz for example is our weakest piece of team in defence. Therefore Hummels is miles ahead of Luiz then. Im not saying Hummels is perfect, but he is regarded at age 23 as one of best defenders and that has some weight.
