Mata has 30 assists in all competitions this season - 12 in the Premier League, 4 in League Cup, 5 in FA Cup, 3 in Champions League and 6 in the Europa League.

Hazard did not get the assist for Mata's goal against Nordsjaelland at SB. He did pass the ball to him but his shot was saved by the keeper and only after that Mata scored from the rebound. Doesn't count as an assist.

As for assisting Torres's against Steaua, think that belongs to Mata actually (hence why the official numbers had him at 30 assists). Judging the ball movement, don't think Hazard touched the ball when Mata passed it Torres. Hazard only dummied it to play tricks on the Steaua's defenders.

Mata's one is fair enough but hazard definitely flicked the ball into the path of torres against steaua,I am dead certain!

Well, yeah, because that's an assist.... that has been standard since the FIFA Technical Study Group's report on the 1986 World Cup.

Belgian press are reporting he will not play. Our national team's doctor is constantly following up Eden's condition, as he needs to be fit for our game against Serbia.

They reckon he'll be fit for that game and they also say he's fit for tommorow but as a precaution he's not playing tommorow.

Definitely makes more sense to get him back fit and available for an important game for Belgium as opposed to this money making friendlies.
