"I want to become the mister 100% of Chelsea ! I’m not saying I want to put all our goals. I want to get maximum performances."

On a personal assessment: "I cannot be unhappy. A rating? For now I'm at maybe 7 out of 10?"

On competition at Chelsea : "This is the way of life at a top, top club. Each player must prove himself. At Chelsea there are only stars."

He seems to be quite uneasy when playing sometimes, a few times now he has tried a pass, lost the ball and its resulted in a goal conceded (not right away but on that particular attack)

Finally last night we saw some of that player we'd heard about. The one who was dominating France from an early age, that made a good impression at the beginning of the season. What was really frustrating is that the team didn't see it (which is fair, they're caught up in the action) but neither did management. Rafa's imputus at half-time should've been to make give Hazard as much ball time as possible. The burden on Mata can be reduced a lot if Hazard can find his touch again.

Hazard will become even better when a) he has a striker better than Torres to play with and

b ) the midfielders are able to supply him the ball consistently in dangerous areas

At the moment when Torres plays we have no focal point so he can't look forward or play one-twos because Torres always loses the ball.

Our current group of midfielders only play obvious balls. When Hazard roams and finds space in dangerous areas he very rarely receives the right ball at the right time because our midfielders are either incapable of playing the pass or just don't see it. We need better ball-playing central midfielders who can pass to our forward players when they find these spaces. Hazard only gets the ball when he drops very deep or stands on the touchline. When he finds little gaps in-between the lines the ball rarely comes to him. Look at some of the Spanish teams that people always rave about; when players find space in-between the lines they receive the ball almost immediately because their midfielders are actively looking to find them in those positions.

Spot on!

I hope our midfield players take a good look at this video from the Belgium national team where Dries Mertens shows how you could simply launch Eden if you can read his running lines...

Starts at 00:26min. For those who didn't know already... this was Hazards first goal for the National Team!

He has all the technical abillity but lacks the flair, and all the creative sparks and ideas to put his skills to use.

He certainly had this when he was playing for Lille Sloth.

I think he's still looking for a good combination between the guy he used to be in France and the guy Chelsea coach(es) want him to be in the team.

He is getting more used to his teammates after this first sixt months at the bridge.

I'm sure when his confidence level will you up ... he will start to really dance on the pitch... just like in France... with a lot flair and creative sparks!

I hope so, not saying he wont do it because he proved me wrong last time and i can't deny him again.

He's still a very young player and it is a new team for him, we will see what happens.

I've heard from more than one person that he hits form around this time of year, and it's starting.

Last season, before January 28th, Eden played 28 games for Lille, scoring 7 goals and adding 7 assists. After that, in 17 games he scored 13 goals and 10 assists.
