Hazard may perform quick for Real look how quick Real fans turn on you look at Courtois for example and bale who's won them Champions League's sometimes it's better staying where you are look at Sanchez at arsenal he was excellent for them joined utd and turned into Torres Syndrome

He has scored so many wonderful goals, that there are goals not included which I would have there. His once against Stoke in 2013, when we thumped them 4-0 at the Britannia was world class. That was his weaker foot and from around 30 yards out. Would arguably have that up there. That Newcastle one was my favourite though, in which he got his hattrick. The second goal to be precise, when he played that one-two with Eto'o is my favourite goal. Will never get bored of watching that.

Really pleased for him that he's had the opportunity to go out the way he has with this win. He's been a great player and a great servant for this football club and I've no problem with his desire for a new challenge and 'dream' of playing for Real Madrid.

He should find the Spanish league far easier to play in than over here, although the demands from that crowd will be a completely new experience for him. I think he already realises that he won't have the same level of love and appreciation over there than he enjoys here but its obvious in his mind if he didn't play for Madrid in his career he'd probably regret it come the end of it.

Even if the ban is overturned we have to make sure we don't try and replace him with another talismanic figure. I would far rather this team be built into a much stronger unit where we are far less reliant on one or two players (as is the case in recent times with Hazard and Kante). Going in for one big player (like Coutinho for example) is not the right plan in my opinion.

Legend  All time Chelsea great. His constant interviews about Real during the years were sometimes annoying, yes, but other than that he has been nothing but class (unlike the snake). The most exciting Chelsea player I have seen, wish him all the best (unless we meet RM in the CL).

Just saw bunch of comments from Real fans after Ramos was rumoured to leave and then the dissapointment after he said he wants to retire there. They literaly compare him to trash and want his past it ass away from club.

Such arrogance and so little respect for their players. I hate Ramos and Im not even remotely Real fan, but I can acknowledge his massive contributions to that team and the respect he deserves (a massive cunt too for sure, but not from a point if you are Real fan). We all know how they treated Raul or Casillas too.

I hope Eden knows that at one point he will be booed and pushed through the back door regardless of what he does there. Thats the state of their fans nowdays.

That said, I wish him all the best in his new adventure.

Don’t feel so good about Chelsea fans. We do the same to our players. Not comparing with Ramos, who’s an excellent dirty player, but Alonso comes to mind.

Ivanovic before that, but that’s football. We are a fickle bunch. ;)

Most only wanted Ivanovic out of first 11, not calling him names.

Alonso is not even anywhere close to those two though. I called Higuain fat fuck too, but if he actualy had a legacy here like Hazard, Ivanovic have or Ramos has at Real, Id never say such thing.

Every club fans talk bad about their players, but when it comes to their legends, its all about respect. Not with Real fans though.

It's surprising how short term memory some fans will have though when a player is approaching the end of their career. Many on this forum were exactly the same recently about David Luiz, it happens with every club.

The one thing I would say about Real Madrid is their fans are very demanding and there's no opportunity to build up credit with them. If Hazard had for them a season like he had for us in Mourinho's final season they'd be wanting him out the door whereas we could appreciate there were struggles that season and we knew the talent he had and he'd get back to his higher levels of performance again. The lack of patience they have provides huge pressure and will certainly take him out of the comfort zone he enjoys here and it's whether Hazard will thrive or struggle in such an environment.
