Like me. He basically said that he was never contacted by RM for Eden. He is guessing that RM wants to built on talented junior players. He added that Eden will think again in a year about its commitment to Chelsea. But he also strongly hinted that Eden wants to stick with Chelsea. Maybe he should hint to his som that he should renew his contract. Might give the team a further boost? Johnnyeye

Jase 43,479
Seems like Hazard is tasked with taking more set pieces under Sarri but just like with everyone else, he's pretty rubbish at them. Can't even beat the first man during a corner! Also, his reluctance to shoot when in good positions is truly, really, fucking infuriating! Yeah, that always baffles me, how can guy be so good technically yet so poor at set pieces (apart from penalties)? Simon1991
Popular Post! Thor 2,699 Posted August 26, 2018 Popular Post! Share Posted August 26, 2018 Thought he was below par today in the first half but then grew into it and had a good second half. Think he should change his game around. Carry the ball more in the second half against tired legs, but move the ball quicker with passes in the first. Felt he held onto the ball too long and slowed us down at times with his twists and turns. !Hazard!, Johnnyeye, kellzfresh and 2 others

Eden needs more time to get used to the system, the way we're playing now he absolutely has to be moving the ball quicker and not slowing down our attacking movement. It says everything that needs to be said about him though, that even though he's still not nearly up to speed he still walks away with MOM. When his game starts properly clicking with the rest of the team, its going to be a sight to behold. Johnnyeye and Thor

Its either Conte was even more defensive than Mourinho or Mourinho's tactics was really to "give the ball to Hazard and see what he can do". Makes sense actually With no attacking plan at all, Mou's plan was simple - give it to Hazard every single time. Unionjack 7,531
I think that MAYBE Eden is just confused. We went thru Mou playing his defend at all cost first policy which absolutley took all of the attackers primal instincts from them then a year of the Don who said come on lets take it to them then a year of hmmm lets think twice before we go for goal. And now we have a manager who says we need to score loads goals because we might let a few in and its the way we are goimg to win I just think he needs to be taking more shots and doesn't always need to dribble into the box or cut inside. But its good just seeing him not moping around with his hands om his hips. Sarris giving him his swag back

Thought he was immense and very involved more centrally in Conte's title winning season. But today it was visible that he had many touches, I immediately thought this must be the most he's had for us, and so it was. But I agree with the point stated above, he needs to pass quicker and not hold on to the ball so long like he did in 1st half (what we say about Willian a lot).
