ParNolio7 285 Posted November 20, 2013 Share Posted November 20, 2013 Hazard had a good first half against Japan, although a little bit out of position at times, but can't blame him for that as he's not used to the central role. But all in all he did well, set up some nice moves again. For some strange reason though, Wilmots decided to play Fellaini as a sub for Hazard at the start of the second half, and that was the end for Belgium against Japan really. I feel we could've won with Hazard in our ranks, but we'll never know. One thing's for sure, Japan is going to be one tough competitor in the WC! He just needs to have one of those outstanding games. He has everything to be a future Bal on dor (however you actually write that) winner but he just isn't doing it. Anyone who wants to shower me with stats about the chances he created for us today be my guest because he was just the best player in the first half imo. I was doing the post-match report for Chelsea Brazil while watching it and every time I had to report an attack I mentioned him.If he carries it on, he will end the season as the player with more chances created in EPL - deservedly and truly to his actual contributions in the match.I'm just heartbroken he didn't score.
