Ryan Fong 2,776
In about 2 or 3 years time, we will have a big Belgium family having Courtois, KDB, Lukaku, T.Hazard and possibly Fellaini, I am sure Hazard will bond and win trophies with us. He is such a likable lad, confident, quirky and mature at the same time, I wish Chelsea can have his services for a long long time! Hamilton 2,120
He also talked about his brother Thorgan, saying he's happy he's no longer seen as the brother off.. His dream is to play some day with him at Chelsea, that's why he made a good move to Zulte, as he needs to play alot at the moment to develop further.. CHOULO19 24,332
Eden looks like a smart guy and I think he can see that for the foreseeable future his best interest is to stay at Chelsea. He is very well paid. He is constantly challenging for tittles and honors and he's a guaranteed starter. What else could he want? CHOULO19 24,332
Tell that to Ronaldo...Madrid offered Ronaldo much more than he was getting at Utd and made him the central figure of the club. They won't do the same with Hazard.

A lot of talents are already in... if others (Fellaini) will follow... Chelsea might be a great base for the progress of all our players as well as our national team => This is undoubtly an important point for EdenWith Thorgan... he also has his brother here => his family, who is really important for Eden also will live (or be living) in LondonHe have choses us a summer ago... he could have gone anywhere!! I bet he must love London as a city and liked our future project (probably he knew about all the belgians coming... Make no mistake... these guys talk about that a lot during national squad games)He earns a lot and lives in a great cityThe spanish liga has only 2-3 important games every year. This is the same like in France. I think Eden had it with those 'easy games'. He's a guy that really needs to find a challenge in the game... he won't get this by playing Espanyol, Mallorca, Osasuno, etc... every year.Last but least: Spanish government just voted a new law that taxes on income wil increase from 24% => 52%!!! Which means that Real madrid will have to give him a weekly income om almost €500.000 for Eden to remain in the same position as he is in today => not gonna happen I have faith that the choice for Chelsea was a well thought one! This future project with all belgians around him (AND his brother) will certainly be important for Eden! His future is Blue => KTBFHH!! :cfc: :cfc: :cfc: mybodyisready, mediator, Mufassir08 and 2 others
Hutcho 8,443
He has a long contract here and it is far to early to talk about a player leaving us who has been here for like 5 months. mediator

Besides, Madrid already have Ronaldo and Barca have Messi, why would either splash out for Hazard if he does become a similar player to Ronaldo? Well, there are rumours circling that Ronaldo won't be renewing his contract with Madrid. Furthermore, he's already 27 years old this year, 6 years older than Hazard. Come 3-4 years time, Ronaldo may well start to decline while Hazard could well be on the up and Madrid then would want somebody of Hazard's calibre to replace Ronaldo.Chill @Bluesmasterfirst of it looks like Chelsea is becoming THE place to be for Belgians. Real Madrid is the ultimate football club for any footballer (except Barca fans). Add the fact that Zidane is his idol and him dreaming of Real is only logical.Personally I'm not too bothered about it, not at all actually. Not every player we get will end up a Lampard case. If he stays here for 5, 6 years and then moves, we simply play/get someone else. Hazard is a exceptional talent but he's not the only one and there will be more to come.
