BlueLyon 9,359
Could you guys (not all of you obviously) make up your mind and stick to it? Once he has good game and he is god, next time he doesnt, you crap him...its same with all the players...can you stand behind them for once? He had bad game, it happens. He returned after 3 week injury and was heavily marked. Our attack is crap, we cant make two passes, our full backs and midfielders dont support attackers as they should. They dont create spaces or chances...its impossible for Hazard (or anyone; Willian, Torres) to do stuff alone against 10 men. Impossible. Its down to Mou to change attacking approach of the team, not on Hazard. When he will have more capable teammates in attack, he will play better himself too. Roquila 1,335
Chelsea is nothing without some controversy. Hazard should't get cocky though, it's still the club over player. It's good that we have Mou as a manager, he can handle this.

Fernando 6,585
Yeah we have left far too much work for him. It was better when we had Mata, but then we change everything to be a team that presses is more aggressive and is fast on the counter. Hence why Oscar was chosen ahead of Mata. Sold Mata but Oscar has now dropped off the map.... Either Mourinho has a good plan this summer to fix our creativity or he fucked it up by marginalizing Mata. Only time will tell and next season will show us the true colors of this team and Mourinho.
DDA 9,941
For me, I findd it extremely frustrating to watch Eden play on the wing without support. Every team in the Universe wil double or triple up against him in that position. So I do not undersrand why he is still being played there. How can a wee track engineer from London work out that playing him in the middle on the counter would be far more effective than playing nobody there aand Jose can't. I would have put Schurrle and Willian on the wings for defensive and attacking duties with Eden in the middle pulling the strings. Edeb had a shocker tonight but it was Jose Mourinho's fault. mediator
iseah100 5,612
Hazard is double or triple teames consistently, he has to try to score and create chances and track back and defend. He's got a point. And anyone who EVEN THINKS about selling should go be a fan of Arsenal or Ajax or Valencia if they want their best players to get sold. mediator

You could see AM were worried about Hazard's speed & made contact to him all match long. They would always put a body on Eden. iseah100 and mediator

Nike 373
Are people really surprised at Hazard's comments? Even if they were taken out of context, their is truth to them. Personally, I don't blame any of our ams individually nor the loss of both KDB/Mata or even Jose. However, I do blame our board for going for Mourinho after they purchased a million ams. Christacinto 137
I really hope these comments aren't going to create any fall-out for Eden at the club, especially in our revered, idiosyncratic manager's mind. Ultimately, Eden puts his finger on the sore spotwhen he says we have systematically struggled with breaking down defensive teams this season. Our lack of attacking options is something that was adressed masterfully by Mourinho at times bymaking strong, armed-concrete defending are nr.1 priority and going from there; i.e. counter-football. Against the weak sides though, where we were forced to make the game and break downparked jumbo jets because they were happy to take 0-0s against us, our strikers' weaknesses showed. I think anyone would agree that these matches cost us the title... (though I still hope for some miracle this weekend). That being said, bad move Eden for feeding the troll press. The fact that he spoke passionately though, shows his sadness and thus his commitment to the club. From all his neutral interviewsI have watched, I am SURE that he's happy at the Bridge and that he can't wait to become better and better as the seasons progress. It's all about the growing curve, people. Shouldn't lose ourselvesin ihis defensive lapses (especially after injury - though frustrating to watch) or spirited-away spells during games. He WILL come back stronger.Just imagine COSTA playing in front of him (Hazard on the 10), and Matic and Luiz together in his back for the CL next year. I shudder at the thought, especially because he SHOULD be relievedof his defensive duties more to reach his full potential.

Popular Post! Stingray 9,441 Posted May 1, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted May 1, 2014 And apparently this is what Hazard said on beIN sports. Anyone care to translate? He says Chelsea isnt set up to dictate/make the game, but rather to play a counter style like Real or Bayern. That is all. Jase 43,479
Although Hazard is by no means 100% wrong in what he said about our style of play, in a week where there has been a strong debate on the positive/negative style of play, his comments were unnecessary. It only gives the media, haters etc amminution to attack Mourinho and team...Eden Hazard criticises Jose Mourinho's tactics, saying Chelsea 'aren't set up to play football' after defeat to Atletico Madrid Martina

MetsajCFC 1,255
There might be hints of truth in what he says but that's not a way a professional player acts. Comments like these do us more harm than good. You think our own manager-board-fans didn't know that we depend on him? Again, if he ever wants to be in the same class as Messi or Ronaldo or Ronaldinho or Suarez - real super-stars, he has to toughen up and instead of whining up his game. Yesterday he didn't offer much of anything, let along "carry" the team. In fact, we've played rather alright without him, beating PSG, Liverpool in the process. We missed him against "weaker" teams, that's all. He should know the player situation in the club, we were missing important players and we will sign couple of very good players in the summer. He should look into the mirror, because it's his inconsistency to perform that makes Azpilicueta a worthy player of the season. He is our best attacking player but there are just some things you can't say publicly, not because it's necessarily wrong, but its unethical especially giving the timing. Never understood why we get stick for playing brilliantly in defence and clubs like Atletico are being praised. Guess success breeds jealousy.
