This is the problem you see, we should be fetching players like Dybala in to play alongside Hazard, not replacing one with the other.

But we cant tie the guy up can we. Its hard enough already to get the bubbly,carefree Eden out on the pitch as it is.

Hes had his mind set on the Spain move a few years so I think the whole 'I'm better than the players in my team'  was just the excuse he was looking for and I really think its too late no matter who we bought to play with him now.

This should have been looked at 1/2 years ago and now we will pay for it.

We can't, but you know the problem being and if he does leave is the pure lack of ambition of the club in the last few seasons. He already stated they need to bring in better quality players, basically saying do this and all is good

He's got a big decision to make because if he stays here, he can become the best player in Chelsea history, at Real Madrid, he's in Ronaldo' shadow and got pressure to replace a goal every game or he will get some serious stick from them fans, if he manages to do that, it will still only be just acceptable to them, he's never going to break records there or become their new talisman.

IF he goes.  It has to be higher than Neymar, IMO.  The fees keep going up and that was last year.  Also, by going for Hazard over Neymar they are saying that they'd rather have him.  So, it's got to be 250.  Also, if we do sell, we have to buy first.  No point in selling for 250 if everyone else's prices go up accordingly (a la Dembele).

I think madrid would be better served investing heavily into a world class striker. Ronaldo had moved into that position this season and benzema has needed replacing for a couple of years.

They already have bale, isco, asensio, vasquez who will offer the creativity and chip in with goals. They also need to consider the need to replace modric eventually too.

That's why i still feel hazard would be low priority for them.

in his position i would stay here for one more year with sarri and if we doesnt make it to top 4 i would leave. if we make it to the top 4, i would sign a new deal and stay here until late in the career.

Not a risk we can take, that means he goes into the last year.

For sure, this is the year we find out if we have a future with or without Hazard, if we can't convince him to sign he has to be sold or next year we don't have much power to demand high fees.

I'm saying this with the genuine belief that Chelsea is comfortably within the biggest 10 clubs in world football, but Hazard must make the decision of being the biggest fish in the smaller pond, or just another fish in the bigger pond.

His mentality of wanting to enjoy his football and keep his private life quiet is much more suited at Chelsea, living in London and being loved by our fans.

The pressure cooker and expectation levels at Madrid I personally don't think would suit him and would not be the enjoyable experience that it sounds.

He already stayed a season when we did not have UCL or Europa League. The real worry about Ronaldo going to Juve is now Real will be willing to spend a fortune on their no.1 target. Would not be surprised to see them go around £130m + for Hazard if they really want him. His performances at the WC won't help us much either.

Coutinho price was £142, Hazard bidding has to at least start at £150 minimum. We might suck at buying players, but Chelsea are masters at getting the price they want for a player who wants to leave(IF he does indeed want to leave, I am not sure he will nor do I think he is their 1st choice).
