I'm not ruling out Hazard going to Real but if they are really interested, you would think there would be something concrete by now, since there's only 1 1/2 months left in the transfer window (1 for us in England). But all we have heard so far is just some typical rumors going around.

LOL -  PSG are set to offer Neymar a new contract worth around €50m-a-year in a bid to keep him out of Real Madrid's clutches, according to Spanish news outlet AS. 

So now the Spanish media are saying that PSG will offer him a new contract, like they know anything about PSG...

It stinks of a media stunt this does. They make it look like he's set to sign a new deal then Real come in with a massive offer and make it look like they convinced him to join them. I hope this is the case anyway, anything to keep them away from Hazard, they can take Tibo.

Maybe but being at an international tournament hasn't stopped a team approaching a player's agent etc in the past, has it? Perez has always given the indication that he wants Neymar as god knows how many times he's spoken about him. Have not recalled him doing the same about Hazard. They didn't come for him when Zidane was still the manager. So, I'm not sure how keen they would be right now, even though Ronaldo has left.

I'm not saying this with 100% confidence but think people have forgotten Hazard has also said he is willing to stay at the club. He issued the ultimatum back in May and it appears the club have listened and are signing an attacking manager along with a few quality players. If everything goes well this summer, then who's to say he won't stay and sign a new contract?

If Real replace Ronaldo with Hazard, they will not win any trophies. Hazard has about 15 goals in him a season.

I know. I guess we are doing everything in our power now. I mean - we must go all guns out blazing. We must bring some quality either to convince Hazard to stay, or, in the end, to replace him with that quality. No more messing around.

The issue is, as usual, about money... This might be the last chance the club has to sell Hazard at full price.

If what you say happens, but say he does not sign a deal, then come Jan the club will be desperate to sell, which already means cut price. And the desperation would only increase come winter... at which point the player may choose to see out his deal.

Honestly hoped this whole thing would have been settled prior to, or at least early during, the transfer window. Yay or nay... This club lacks long-term vision.

Still think if Real or Barca were to ramp up their interest his head would be swayed, regardless of what we do or who we sign. Fair enough most players probably would be and it would possibly be the last chance he'll have all the cards in demanding a move or not demanding one. I think he will stay but its not as black and white as it seems. I think the next few weeks we will need to keep plugging away at getting a few more players, not just any players obviously the right ones and also if Willian were to leave we'd have to buy somebody who is better than him for definite.
