Bullshit. This Guy in a positive team with a good manager? I would always have him. So would every good coach in the world. He just isnt a leader. He is the Guy that uplifts your team when your are up. Then he is phenomenal. When your down, he cracks. Ps! KDB is just the same! Blue_Fox_ 2,086
Of course he's still going to be put on a pedestal. Gutless chicken. As I've said I would swap him fro someone like Dybala or Griezmann in an instant.

'The ball control of a punguin? Eden? What are you saying exactly? You are saying that Hazard plays good when the team plays good. How is that an excuse for him?? I saw Hazard dribble the ball past 6 players and score a screamer. Nowadays his ball control is worse than Pedros. Losing the ball to the first player, not taking runs, not dribbling, not scoring, not assisting. This has nothing to do with being a leader or having a leader. Hazard is a typical 2016 player. Gets paid more in a week than most of the world make in their lifetime and does nothing for it. Plays 1 good game every 3-4 months and that's it. Last season may have been a one off but this season is clearly showing who he really is.
Fernando 6,723
Id still keep him. The one that had to be sold was Willian, I was saying it for the longest. And now people are realizing how average he was. Willian hit his peek, Hazard has more to give. Granted we are over relying on him, because if he don't perform we don't do much. Coop and bethos1

Popular Post! Jase 43,479 Posted September 24, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted September 24, 2016 Yeah, he's been quiet, average, rubbish, shit or whatever you want to call him. But to be honest, I wouldn't blame him. Why even bother when you know your shit defence will just ruin all the good work? Before we could begin today, you already had an idiot committing suicide and giving a goal away. He simply didnt TRY to get involved.  Even when Silva is running the show for city, and De Bruyne is on the wings he always looks to try to get touches and get involved. Hazard wanted no parts of that today, even when that clown Willian had moved to the middle and tried to get going.  He could look like Nolito or Sterling in that squad, but I don't see the KDB or Messi in him. Not anymore at least. Maybe when he first came he had it, but he's developed differently. robsblubot

Very true, but we all appreciate Hazard for who he is. A guy who is unplayable on a day, but a guy who is also content with letting a game pass him by. Â Whether or not he showed up today or not Arsenal are, and were, the better side. He can demand to play a part in the game though, and the Hazard out there today was happy to stay on the wing and effectively hide. If he demanded the ball, and look like ass, then ok. He didnt though. He was content with being a passenger.

Hardly any and not surprising considering the number of braindead players we have in the squad. And he might actually perform better and consistently if the team was playing more on offensive than defensive. You want your best players to try to force the issue. Â Coaching aside, which shouldn't have even mattered seeing as Conte seemed in well over his head as soon as Cahill fucked up with the first goal, the star man has to demand the ball. With the exception of those 2-3 chances Willian had, I don't think he did much, if any at all really. You can say Hazard has to demand the ball but the thing is, he did get the ball and we gave it to him but how do you expect him to create something when there's no one else around to combine with him. It's usually just Costa and maybe Fabregas and that's it. Because we have next to zero attacking movements, it's easy for teams to contain him. And you can't slam the team/manager for not having any attacking patterns and then turn around to criticize Hazard for not doing anything.
Polo7 3,496
What makes me laugh is how people say he shouldnt have to defend and thats why his game isnt as good as it can be. Which winger in the premier league doesnt track back....only fucking Hazard. Was just as shit as Willian today.

Willian didnt do anything because he sucks, but he still demanded the ball a few times in an area where he looked to dictate in the middle. Â The manager, and team, can take some of the blame too but objectively viewing him today he didnt want it bad enough. We can theorize why, but that much was clear.
