I personally don't think it will happen, with all our new signings we don't want him as much as we did before, and added to the fact Porto won't be reasonable for price will mean to buy him we will have to pay over the odds, which our board should see is unecessary and not needed at this point.

Well after seeing Sturridge today, I hope he gets as much time as striker this season. This gives me more hope for this transfer, not only will we have one of the best RW, scoring several goals, for years to come, but he could also save the day at striker if Torres and Studge flop.
