If someone a month ago said to me that Silva and Ibra will join Psg for 60+mio I would laugh only.

Transfer market will be open for more than a month and anything can happen. We are/were so seriously conected to both, Oscar and Hulk, we were following Hulk for years now and there wouldnt be bit weird or surprising if we get him. If Psg can spend around 90mio+ (Lavezzi 30, Silva 40, Ibra 20), I dont see why Chelsea couldnt who already had money plus we won CL.

Definitely, because it pisses me off when players don't think there good enough and play for Wales/Scotland when there younger, then turn out worldclass.

i have already given up. this has robinho, modric and pastore saga written all over it.

He was great when we played defensive, in attacking passing game, he wouldnt be that usefull, he dont have that good passing and crossing or dribbling. But I still feel sorry for him, if Hulk comes, Rambo will be sub.

That aside, yes the season behind him is spectacular. Seasons before that? Not so much. He will be 29 when the new season starts. With his injury record that doesn't sound convincing. We would be stuck with an injury prone player on high wages that would give us 1 or 2 good years if he stayed fit.

Van Persie is a striker. Yes, he can play on the wing, but it's stupid bringing a striker to play on the wing position with what I mentioned above.

Hulk would bring a new dimension into our team. Van Persie would just score goals and give Eva more work.

I don't see this happening at all now. We have decent strength in that area now and we're still linked with so many more others which kinda indicates that this wont happen. Talk of Hulk has gone a bit cold. I'm not even sure if we really need him that much either if i'm honest.

Mata, Hazard, Marin and Oscar are all very fast skillful but are pretty weak. We haven't got any phsyical strength in front. I'm afraid that it's a problem in the Premier League

Being small has nothing to do with strength. Hazard has pretty good strength and doesn't get pushed off the ball like Mata. Another example is Aguero, he's only 172 but is very strong.

Unless you are talking about aerial threat, and if that's the case, then Hulk wouldn't solve that either.

Of course it would be a good thing to have up top or out on the right wing but it isn't as if Hazard or KDB are weak and don't possess any strength at all.

yeah torres isnt weak, studge is pretty strong/fast/physical plus mikel/lamps in the mid are always rocks we dont need rugby sized athletes lol, our back 4 aside from ash are all big men too, I am quite content with this team, i mean im indifferent to getting anymore signings

When you talk about the importance of strength, you're almost always talking about a striker, a central defender, or maybe a defensive midfielder. Hulk has many other skills that make him a very good winger, but I don't care much about his strength.

Of course I didn't mean to single out his strength to seem as if it were his only attribute, he has quite good feet with a ridiculously venomous shot plus pace and impact ability. I agree with you his strength isn't necessarily that important when playing wing though maybe it does help a lot if he were to play striker for us!

dude the persie comment was not literal but just for y not this player too if we want that one. the main argument was the squad as i see it right now and it seems a young squad with the right amount of experience and one which can win the league. might even challenge for the defence of cl but i simply cannt see that happen without dd or someone good enough to replace him which is definitely not hulk. so i dont really see y we need a 40m hulk.

I would like a strong winger tbh, someone who can speed down the line and not get brushed off the ball and can give full backs a hard time. I feel as tho Chamberlain will be very Hulk like in the future. He's an exceptional talent.
