Got to give it to him, he had a good game but my point still stands. 

The reason we are here is because we buy many mediocre players. If David Luiz is the best we can buy then don't expect us to challenge for anything. 

That being said, he is far better then Cahill, hopefully when Terry is fit he stars a long with him.

If i remember correctly, according to Carragher (today) Chelsea will go back to the glorious Terry and Cahill partnership.

I would have preferred someone else, but Luiz played his heart out, he's of course better than the current players who play in his position. You know what you get with him, he's always trying, always giving it a go for the fans, can't fold a guy for doing that. Impressed by his deliveries, didn't remember them at this level, respect! Nevertheless he needs to keep it up at this level.

Maybe Luiz wasn't the first target, i agree, but paying the money Chelsea did should make it clear that Conte approved the decision, otherwise why did they hire him in the first place and why should he risk his reputation? Just for money, i don't believe that.

Chelsea needs better playing it out from the back, Juve did it because of Bonucci. Luiz happens to be one of the better players who can do it in world football and more importantly, i don't believe that in today's game he's any worse than Cahill. That particular partnership got exposed big time last season, enough is enough.

Overall i think that's just his wishful thinking. In recent times i remember hearing something similar about another club. Because of this Pool's chances aren't going up.

These pundits never fail to amaze me. So David Luiz is not a Conte type of defender, but Cahill is? How come? He is fucking dog shite, can't defend, can't play from the back, can't keep his shit together if Terry is not there, backs up like a fucking maniac, is prone to silly errors every week etc. Had David Luiz been English he'd have been on every pundit's lips. But since he is a foreigner of course "he can't defend". Had a good game I thought, distributed the ball really well and mopped up a lot of shit. You won't get that recognition from the pundits though, they want to focus on the negatives and see him break his leg.....they are all cunts.

I doubt that. I think the troubles will continue because none of those players are that good. But it would be nice if you were right.

Definitely looking forward to a defence which does not include Dumb and Dumber though.

The abuse Luiz recieved from the pundits last night was nothing short of disgracefull. Especially after the game he had. Souness was still bashing him after the game and Henry was sitting there looking rather akward to say the least. It's clearly obvious that Graham doesn't like him for whatever reasons other than his preious footballing displays. Then Jamie went on to say he wasn't a Conte signing, which may be the case. Have they not taken into consideration that we are held to ransom everytime we enter the narket for a defender!! I thought Luiz was a decent buy. He isn't the best defender in the world but a huge upgrade from Cahill and the tired legs of a Legend in JT. Luiiz is a great distributor of the ball and last night looked asif he get's the fact that no nonsense is better than fancy shit when defending. I pray that he proves these highly opinionated pundits wrong. Comon geezer!
